On April 9, Beijing time, University of Arkansas forward Trevon Brazile told ESPN that his college career is over and that he is hiring an agent to give up his remaining college qualifications to participate in the 2024 NBA Draft.

Currently ranked No. 42 in the ESPN Top 100 in the 2024 NBA Draft, Brazier averaged 8.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game in 26 minutes per game in his junior season, shooting 35% from three-point range, and is 6-10 (2.08m) tall from Missouri after a sophomore season due to an ACL tear.

The University of Arkansas is finalizing a deal to hire Calipari of the University of Kentucky to replace Eric Musselman, who traveled to USC last week. Brazier said he and his agent have not yet been contacted by Calipari and that the recruitment has not yet officially begun before the official announcement.

Brazier said he plans to stay in top shape for a combined NBA tryout in Chicago in May.

The 2024 NBA Draft will be held in New York on June 26-27 local time. The first round will be held at the Barclays Center of the Brooklyn Nets, and the second round will be played the following day at ESPN's studio in Lower Manhattan.
