On April 7, DENZA announced the official name of its flagship sedan, the DENZA Z9 GT.
The new car is still named with a combination of letters and numbers, but the two letters GT allude to the type of car that the car is modeled at. Obviously, the Denza Z9 GT is not a sedan in the traditional sense, it is a hunting car.
Judging from the previous model naming of DENZA Auto, D stands for MPV, N stands for SUV, and Z obviously stands for sedan. The number 9 represents the identity of the flagship of this car.
The new car is currently being tested in Germany and is expected to be unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show.
Judging from the exposed photos, the body shape of the Denza Z9 GT is still quite stunning. Especially on the side of the body, the chassis has a relatively low ground clearance, a low attitude, and a more prominent tail. It seems to retain the body posture of a hunting vehicle without sacrificing the rear passenger space.
The design of the front face can be described as concise, and the rib line on the hood shows a certain sense of sportiness, which makes people want to explore it.
It is understood that the new car will be equipped with a new technology platform exclusive to Denza, and the new three-electric technology may bring considerable parameter performance, which is quite expected.
Originally, hunting vehicles were relatively niche models in China. Now, though, the hunting car looks like it's becoming a new track.
Speaking of hunting vehicles, ZEEKR 001 can be said to be the pioneer of the market segment, and the cumulative sales of this model have exceeded 160,000 units. Considering its status as a pure electric hunting vehicle, this sales figure is quite golden. Today, the number of Dading after the launch of the new ZEEKR 001 has exceeded 30,000 units, demonstrating its dominance in this field.
On this track, NIO ET5T also has a relatively stable sales volume every month. Interestingly, Nezha S hunting and loading vehicles are also coming to participate in the competition of this new blue ocean.
The DENZA Z9 GT is under a lot of pressure, both in terms of how to tap into its potential in a limited market and how to stand out from its competitors.
Referring to the current price of Nezha S at 15.5-225,000 yuan, the Nezha S hunting car should not be much more expensive, and the starting price is expected to be around 170,000 yuan. The all-new ZEEKR 001 is currently priced at 269,000-329,000 yuan. The price of the NIO ET5T has come to 298,000-356,000 yuan.
