On April 8, Chinese Ambassador to Iran Chang Hua paid a farewell visit to First Vice President Muhber.
Ambassador Chang said that China and Iran are both important developing countries, and promoting the healthy and stable development of bilateral relations is in line with the traditional friendship between the two sides, in the fundamental interests of the two peoples, and in the maintenance of regional and world peace and stability. China is ready to work with Iran to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and promote the steady and long-term development of China-Iran relations.
Mukhber highly appreciated Ambassador Chang's positive efforts to promote Iran-China cooperation in various fields during his tenure of office, and said that Iran is willing to strengthen cooperation with China and promote greater development of Iran-China relations in the direction guided by the two heads of state.
Recently, Ambassador Chang also paid a courtesy call on Zulgader, Secretary-General of the Iranian Committee for Determining National Interests, and other senior Iranian officials.
