In recent years, Jinchuan District has deeply practiced the green development concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", and gradually improved the green environment of rural human settlements by taking the construction of harmonious villages, green channels and courtyard economy as the starting point. In order to further promote the construction of Hemei countryside and develop the rural courtyard economy, the District Forestry and Grassland Bureau organized cadres and workers to carry out field research, adhering to the principle that trees should be trees and fruits should be fruits, and according to the actual situation of each village in the two towns, the greening layout of Jinchuan District in 2024 was determined, and the key issues such as what kind to plant, what to plant, and how much to plant were clarified, and about 13,000 trees were planted in 9 administrative villages.
Recently, the District Forestry and Grassland Bureau began the supply of village greening seedlings in 2024, according to the preliminary field research, it is expected to supply 13,000 seedlings this year, including about 9,500 seedlings of economic forests such as apricots, peaches, plums, apples, etc., and 3,600 green seedlings such as white wax, begonia, and red leaf plum. At the same time, arrange a special person to be responsible for the quarantine of seedlings, strictly prevent the use of shoddy, pests and diseases and other unqualified seedlings, and strictly implement the requirements of not planting and seedlings that are not qualified for land preparation.
In the past five years, Jinchuan District has allocated a total of 2.7 million yuan of seedlings to support rural greening and beautification, develop courtyard economy, and effectively promote the process of rural greening. Focusing on the greening of beautiful villages in provinces, cities and districts, and in accordance with the requirements of "greening, beautification, and fragrant flowers", we have planted multiple tree species and matched trees, shrubs, grasses and flowers, and vigorously promoted the integration of urban and rural greening, and the greening rate of villages in the whole region has reached 50%.
In the next step, the District Forestry and Grassland Bureau will do a good job in the acceptance of seedlings, clarify the overall quality requirements and quality standards of each process, strictly implement the requirements of unqualified planting and non-acceptance, and non-completion of tasks without evacuation, and strive to standardize and improve each process to ensure that the planting survives once, and strive to achieve the coordination and unity of ecological, economic and social benefits.
