On April 1, Jingbian County Library, together with the County Reading Association and the County Education Society, held a book donation activity to the nine-year school in Huanghaojie Town. The purpose of this activity is to enrich the reading resources of teachers and students in rural schools in Jingbian County, enhance the cultural atmosphere of the school, and demonstrate the support and attention of Jingbian County Library to education. Representatives of Jingbian County Library, directors of the County Reading Association, and all teachers and students of the school attended the event.
At the event, Jingbian County Library donated high-quality books in literature, history, science and other fields, which will open a window for students to understand the world, ignite the torch of their knowledge, and also provide valuable educational and teaching reference materials for teachers to help them better teach and solve doubts.
In this donation activity, the teachers and students of "Reading Star" also received a special book gift carefully selected from Jingbian County Library, which is not only a recognition and recognition of their hard work in the past, but also hopes that they will continue to maintain the habit of loving reading and continue to absorb the power of knowledge on the road of learning in the future.
After the donation ceremony, Mr. Xu Jianfeng shared a special lecture on the theme of "Reading is to Live Better". "Asking how much sorrow you can have, just like a river flowing eastward" is the sorrow described by the poet; "Mo on the flowers bloom, can slowly return" is the urging of the ancients; "Mo Shangren is like jade, the son is unparalleled in the world" is the handsome in the eyes of the poet. By quoting scriptures and taking his own personal experience as an example, he shared with humor and vivid language how to expand his horizons and change his destiny through reading. His wonderful speech made the students applaud continuously and benefited a lot.
The successful holding of this book donation activity not only brought rich reading resources to the teachers and students of Huanghaojie School, but also conveyed the support and attention of Jingbian County Library to education.
