At about 2 o'clock in the morning on April 7, at an intersection in Chengzhao Village, Zhao Town, Qi County, two semi-trailers were rear-ended, and the driver was trapped in the cab. After receiving the alarm, the Qili Road Fire and Rescue Station in Qi County immediately went to deal with it.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found that the cab of the rear car was seriously dented, and the lower half of the driver's body was stuck in the deformed space and could not move, and he was in urgent need of rescue.
In light of the situation at the scene, the cadres immediately divided the firefighters into a vigilance group and a rescue group, and the vigilance group, together with the public security traffic police department, guarded the accident area to prevent vehicles from rushing into the rescue scene and causing a secondary accident;
Due to the serious deformation of the cab, the rescue space is very narrow, and the firefighters first let the semi-trailer in front move a certain distance to increase the rescue space. Then the firefighters immediately used the hydraulic demolition tool set to prop up the deformed car body, and at the same time, a firefighter entered the car and cooperated inside and outside to rescue the driver.
During the rescue process, the firefighters kept talking with the trapped people, and after 15 minutes of intense rescue, they successfully rescued the trapped people, carried them on a stretcher, and handed them over to the 120 medical personnel waiting at the scene.
