In the northwest Gobi, a comprehensive training assessment of a brigade of the 76th Group Army is in full swing. Private Li Jia, in close coordination with his comrades-in-arms, drove the combat vehicle through water barriers, fire barriers, drug-infected areas, and artillery fire coverage areas, and completed more than 10 tasks, such as searching for the enemy's situation, opening up passages, and shooting in sports, within the specified time, and achieved excellent results in the overall evaluation.
"The rapid growth of young soldiers is inseparable from the fact that the party branch of the company pays attention to the role of the regimental branch and the military committee. Luo Chuantao, secretary of the party branch of the company, said that during the year-end assessment last year, they found that some conscripts had low tactical quality and weak professional ability. To this end, in accordance with the suggestions put forward by the Military Committee, the party branch of the company actively brought into play the role of non-commissioned officers, scientifically organized training and conducted training in line with the needs of actual combat, and improved the ability and quality of conscripts through pairing and helping them; encouraged the regimental branch to carry out activities such as "paying tribute to heroes and learning from benchmarks" and "telling typical stories" in light of actual conditions, so as to encourage young comrades to learn from their benchmarks and strive to be the leading soldiers in winning wars.
The practice of this company is a microcosm of the brigade's emphasis on giving play to the role of the "three major organizations" at the grassroots level and improving the quality of construction.
According to reports, in order to improve the quality of grassroots construction, the party committee of the brigade has taken the joint construction and joint creation of the "three major organizations" as the starting point in accordance with the requirements of the "Outline for the Construction of Grassroots Units of the Army," and on the basis of extensively soliciting opinions and suggestions, it has made efforts and made a fuss around the word "joint," and has included the building of mass organizations in the category of indicators for measuring the effectiveness of party building, and has taken party building and group building as an important part of the responsibility system for party building work, and has included it in the planning of grassroots construction and the scope of party committee deliberations. It is incorporated into the content of inspection and evaluation, urging the grassroots to give play to the role of mass organizations, and further enhancing the ability to grasp construction independently.
In practice, the brigade started by guiding grass-roots units to select and strengthen the backbone of mass organizations, preferentially selected backbone cadres with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent military and political qualities to participate in the work of the regiment branch and servicemen's committees, and encouraged the secretaries and deputy secretaries of grass-roots party organizations to pair up with the secretaries of the regimental branches and the directors of the servicemen's committees, and improved the work ability of the backbone of the mass organizations through the secretaries leading the secretaries (directors), the members leading the backbones, and the party members leading the league members. On this basis, they have perfected the working mechanisms for overall planning and coordination, situation analysis, and giving feedback on evaluations, persistently asked the soldiers what they need and what they plan for in their planning work, paid attention to carrying forward the "three major democracies," guided and encouraged the officers and men at the grassroots level to play the leading role and be the main force in the construction of the grassroots units with the attitude of "masters," and continued to arouse enthusiasm for construction and tap the potential of construction.
Party building leads to group building, and the grassroots add vitality. Once, the superior organized a martial arts assessment. During the preparation period, while doing a good job in making overall plans for work and drawing up a plan for compulsory training, the party branch of the Second Reconnaissance Company made a clear definition of the division of labor among the mass organizations: The regimental branch gave full play to the advantages of young officers and men with relatively high academic qualifications and active thinking, and regularly organized innovations in training methods and tackling difficult problems; and the servicemen's committee organized and carried out activities such as "striving to be the top soldier in training" and "I offer suggestions for winning wars" to arouse the enthusiasm of officers and men for training. In the end, the officers and men of the company won the first place in the overall evaluation by virtue of their excellent quality.
The number of party members in the third tank company is relatively large, and the role is obvious, so the party branch does not pay enough attention to the role of mass organizations, which affects the enthusiasm of some young comrades. After learning about the situation, they convened a meeting of the branch committee to discuss and decide to appoint Zhang Cheng, a second-class sergeant with strong work ability and high prestige among young officers and soldiers, as deputy secretary of the regiment branch, and let Wang Xiao, secretary of the party branch, pair up with him. In his work, Wang Xiao attended the meeting of the regiment branch as an observer, provided assistance and guidance around the organization of activities, work development, and backbone training, and at the same time guided the military committee to help everyone solve practical problems, which effectively united the soldiers' morale and boosted morale, and the company's construction has made new improvements.
"Actively giving play to the role of mass organizations and promoting self-construction at the grassroots level through joint construction has further stimulated the enthusiasm and motivation of officers and men in training and preparing for war. According to the leaders of the brigade, in the next step, they will explore and optimize the methods of joint construction and joint creation of party and mass organizations on the basis of summarizing experience, bundle the "three major organizations" together and integrate them into one building, and promote party building through party building and group building, so as to continuously improve the quality of comprehensive construction at the grassroots level.
