The smallest broadcast camera in the world
Proton Camera Innovations claims to have developed the world's smallest broadcast camera, just over an inch tall, which will be launched at NAB 2024 and measures 28mm by 28mm and weighs just 24g. Proton Camera boasts "industry-leading" image quality, with 12-bit sensor technology and an advanced field-programmable gate array (FPGA) that delivers high resolution and dynamic range. The camera also has a wide 120-degree viewing angle, making it good at shooting low-light images. Its battery life is said to be much longer than other cameras in the same field on the market, which can dissipate heat and improve operational stability in harsh environments.
It's hard to comment on the accuracy of these claims until we see the cameras in action. If it's as packed with industry-leading features as hoped, it's very useful in multiple areas thanks to its tiny form factor. Small cameras can revolutionize drone capture, addressing the main challenges of size and weight, and it's also great for creating smaller body cameras and other wearable technologies.

Yongnuo is about to launch the new YN455II M43 live camera
It is reported that Yongnuo is about to release a new M43 camera, which has an Android13 operating system, a compact and portable body design, compatible with 4K 60p, supports autofocus algorithms, high-quality stereo sound, dual MIC design, built-in 4200mAh large-capacity lithium battery, supports DC charging, and realizes long-term live broadcast and multi-platform live broadcast applications. Nikon's new micro single tilt-shift lens has been rumored to be released
Recently, some netizens discovered that Nikon's Nikkor 19mm F4E ED tilt-shift lens released at the end of 2016 was listed as a discontinued product in many stores in Japan, and some overseas merchants still have inventory. Three new lenses were released
Since its release in 2023, the NiSi Athena Prime has been praised by DPs for its compact size and gimbal system-friendly design. Recently, Nesi has added three new lenses to its series, namely 18mm T2.2, 40mm T1.9 and 135mm T2.2 lenses, all of which are Fujifilm X-mount, with a single lens price of about $1,300 (about 9,403 yuan excluding tax), a three-lens combination priced at $3,499 (about 25,311 yuan excluding tax), and a five-lens kit priced at $5,798 (about 68,019 yuan excluding tax).

Atlas Lens Co.推出新变形镜头
Atlas Lens Co. has recently expanded its range of anamorphic lenses with the introduction of new 18mm T2, 135mm T2.2 and 200mm T2.2 Orion 2x anamorphic lenses. The new Atlas Lens Co. Orion 18mm is available for pre-order now for $17,995 (about 130172 yuan excluding tax). The 135mm and 200mm are priced at $14,995 (about 108,470 yuan excluding tax).
The new Atlas Orion anamorphic 18mm, 135mm, and 200mm lenses open up new possibilities for those who want to expand their range of focal length options when using this set of lenses. Like the rest of the lenses in the series, the new lens offers low chromatic aberration, oval bokeh, and striped flare. They also feature the ARLI PL and Canon EF mounts, which are compatible with a wide range of cameras and have uniform focus, aperture and standardized sizes.
The 18mm Orion series is currently the world's most mass-produced, wide-angle anamorphic lens, setting a new standard for ultra-wide-angle viewing angles and featuring an ultra-close-up focal length of 18"/45.72cm. The 135mm Orion can be shot at long distances, and the 200mm is now the longest focal length in the Orion series. The 135mm T2.2 weighs 8.8 lbs/3.99 kg and has a minimum focusing distance of 3.5 ft./106.68 cm. The 200mm T2.2 weighs 9 lbs/4 kg and has a minimum focusing distance of 3.5 ft./106.68 cm.

XYZ STUDIO releases the first Rehoused Canon FD series
For 2024, XYZ STUDIO has partnered with 0131Cineoptics to reinvent the Canon FD series lenses with a distinctive metallic silver look, 16 aperture blades, and a bore of 95mm (14mm for 110mm) for all lenses, with the focusing gear on the same horizontal line.
The full set of lenses includes: 14mm T2.8, 20mm T2.8, 24mm T1.4 ASPH, 28mm T2.0, 35mm T1.5 ASPH, 45mm T1.4, 55mm T1.3 ASPH, 85mm T1.3 ASPH, 100mm T2.0, 135mm T2.0.
The FD lens has many impressive characteristics, such as its unique bokeh effect, this time XYZ increased the original 8 aperture blades of the FD to 16 to further maintain and enhance the out-of-focus characteristics of the original FD lens, this stretched bokeh is different from the strong rotation focus characteristics of HELLIOS or PETZVAL, the bokeh shown by the FD is more convergent but does not lose attitude, and the transition of the layers is more natural, bringing more creative possibilities to photographers.
