The Party's self-revolution and the Party-led social revolution are dialectically unified. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "the Communist Party of China can lead the people to carry out a great social revolution and a great self-revolution. "Social revolution is the mission and responsibility of the Communists, and it shows the practical achievements of the Communist Party of China in leading the people of all ethnic groups across the country to carry out revolution, construction and reform. The Party's self-revolution is a powerful driving force for promoting the social revolution, and the new tasks and challenges of the social revolution put forward new goals and new requirements for the Party's self-revolution. Persisting in leading the social revolution through the party's self-revolution is not only an objective requirement for the party to lead the people in carrying out social revolution, but also an inherent necessity for a Marxist political party to promote social development by strengthening its own construction. Upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era is not only the main theme of the Party's leadership of the people in carrying out the social revolution and an important support for the Party's self-revolution, but also the new achievements and new continuation of the Party's leadership of the people in carrying out the social revolution.
Since its birth, our party has always adhered to the fundamental purpose of self-revolution by leading the great social revolution. Marxism holds that "only a social revolution is a real revolution, and a political and philosophical revolution must also be based on a social revolution." The "First Program of the Communist Party of China" clearly stated that "the fundamental political purpose of the Party is to carry out social revolution" and take the initiative to shoulder the historical mission of self-revolution and social revolution. Over the past 100 years since its founding, the essence of the Party's ability to go through vicissitudes of life without changing its original aspiration and to maintain its true colors despite the hardships and frosts lies in carrying out thorough self-revolution while promoting the social revolution, and integrating self-revolution and social revolution into the Party's self-building and all the activities it leads. In the new era, the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core adheres to the great self-revolution to lead the great social revolution, promotes the new great project of party building in the new era, and continuously enhances the party's ability to self-purify, self-improve, self-innovate and self-improve. By persisting in leading the social revolution through the Party's self-revolution, our Party will be able to consistently unite and lead the people to achieve national prosperity and happiness.
Leading the social revolution is also the fundamental purpose of the Party's self-revolution and pointing out the goal and direction of the Party's self-revolution. The Party's self-revolution is conducive to building our Party into a stronger and more powerful Party in order to cope with various risks and challenges and achieve the goal of social revolution. To what extent the Party has achieved self-revolution, the social revolution led by the Party can be advanced to what depth and height, and the depth and height of the social revolution reflect the effectiveness of the Party's self-revolution in a certain sense.
Persisting in leading the social revolution through the party's self-revolution requires theoretical and practical innovation. In the new era, our party must promote the great social revolution carried out by the party under the leadership of the people through the party's self-revolution. This requires our party to form the political consciousness of leading the social revolution with self-revolution, to solve its own various problems through self-revolution, and to ensure that it must be self-hardened in striking iron. It is necessary to strengthen the guarantee of strength, maintain a unified ideology, firm will, and coordinated action of the whole party, constantly eliminate all factors that undermine the party's advanced nature and purity, and constantly eliminate all viruses that erode the party's healthy body, continue to exert efforts and advance in depth in the soil and conditions for the eradication of corruption, and fight a protracted battle against corruption, so as to provide strong support for advancing the social revolution.
