Comrade Mao Zedong made it clear: "We have found a new way, and we can jump out of this cyclical rate." This new path is democracy. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized the problem of "historical cycle rate", and put forward a major warning to the whole party that "has the problem of 'cave pairs' been completely solved?" Shortly after the conclusion of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping led the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the 20th CPC Central Committee to Yan'an to revisit the "cave pair" and solemnly declare that he would "have the courage to promote the party's self-revolution, unswervingly promote the comprehensive and strict governance of the party, always maintain the party's advanced nature and purity, and ensure that the party will always become a strong leadership core for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics", indicating the strong determination and strong will to strive to create a new situation of self-revolution for the century-old party on the new journey.

Whether or not we can break out of the historical cycle is a major issue that has a bearing on the party's great cause for a thousand years, on the party's life and death, and on the success or failure of the mainland's socialist system.
