Villages from 10 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, including Tianjin, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, and Shandong, have become the top ten cases of rural revitalization empowered by culture and tourism. Jingzhu Village, Chongqing: The integration of agriculture, culture and tourism promotes rural development
Jingzhu Village is located in the hinterland of Fairy Mountain in Wulong District, Chongqing, which is very rich in natural resources, with a variety of landscapes such as forests, meadows, sinkholes, and canyons. Tourists come here to enjoy the flowers in spring, escape the heat in summer, watch the red leaves in autumn, and enjoy the snow in winter. During this year's Qingming holiday, many tourists come here every day to visit and check in.
Grinding, brewing, latte art...... After a set of smooth movements, a cup of fragrant coffee is made. She is a well-known local "village barista" Ran Guangfang. Ran Guangfang, 54 years old this year, was a good local farmer a few years ago.
Ran Guangfang works in a two-story glass building in the village, which is both a coffee bar and a village library. With the help of training in the village to learn the art of coffee brewing, Ran Guangfang transformed from a farmer to a village barista.
Ran Guangfang, a villager from Jingzhu Village, Fairy Mountain Street, Wulong District, Chongqing City, has changed a lot in recent years, our family works in the village, except for the rest of the time to do farm work at home, the annual income is about 100,000 yuan, which is two or three times more than before.
The story of rural barista Ran Guangfang is just a microcosm of Wulong District's promotion of the integrated development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries + tourism. Since 2015, it has embarked on the road of rural tourism development, and the sinkholes, canyons, and forests that were previously hidden in the depths of the boudoir have become the favored scenery of tourists. The dilapidated pigsty and flue-cured tobacco house have been artistically transformed into tea shops and libraries for Internet celebrities. Villagers who depend on agriculture for a living have found 9-to-5 jobs on their doorstep. The development of the tourism industry has not only changed the lives of the villagers, but also skewered the hopes and dreams of the villagers.
In 2023, Jingzhu Village will receive more than 550,000 tourists, and the per capita disposable income of the villagers will reach 25,110 yuan.
Li Pengcheng, director of the Fairy Mountain Sub-district Office in Wulong District, said that in the future, it will further promote the active development of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries in Jingzhu Village + the in-depth integration of tourism, and launch more consumption scenarios and application scenarios for the integration and innovative development of agriculture, culture and tourism, so that Jingzhu Village will become a fairyland and resort in the hearts of tourists, and strive to build a model for the modernization of mountainous areas where eco-tourism drives the common prosperity of the countryside.
Yinan, Shandong: Deeply cultivating tourism resources and empowering rural revitalization
Yinan County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is known as the "hometown of Hongsao", which is an important birthplace of the Yimeng spirit. In recent years, Yinan County has relied on red resources to create a characteristic cultural tourism brand, and explored the "Yinan model" of cultural industry empowering rural revitalization.
During the Qingming holiday, in the red film and television base of Yinan County, the immersive small theater is performing the repertoire of "Women's Rescue Association", attracting many tourists to stop and check in. This repertoire tells the story of a group of women comrades who emerged in the old revolutionary base area of Yimeng during the Anti-Japanese War, and this group is called "Yimeng Hongsao". The superb acting skills of the actors bring the audience into it, as if they were there.
This immersive small theater is a cultural tourism project innovated by Yinan County relying on local red resources. On the first day of this Qingming holiday, the number of tourists in the scenic spot reached 5,000. Through the development of the red tourism industry, it has also found a "breakthrough" for the revitalization of the countryside. This scenic spot is a village called Changshanzhuang, now the villagers have moved into the new community as a whole, the old houses have been retained, relying on this unique advantage to establish a set of red research, film and television shooting, leisure and sightseeing as one of the Shandong Hongsao hometown tourist area, to undertake the filming of "Yimeng", "Bullfighting" and other more than 400 red film and television dramas.
Gao Yan, chief of the marketing section of the Yinan County Culture and Tourism Bureau, said that relying on this tourist area, a "one district and four members" cultural tourism model of benefiting farmers has been formed, including working as a staff member in the scenic spot, becoming a member of the company with land shares, wearing costumes as actors, and selling products as clerks.
According to the characteristics of different villages, the local government fully excavates the advantages of differentiated resources and implements the diversified cultural and tourism format of "one village, one product". At present, Yinan County has a total of 14 tourist attractions, receiving 11.2346 million tourists every year, with a turnover of 8.562 billion yuan, and more than 12,000 villagers in 84 villages have achieved a per capita income increase of 20,000 yuan.
Dong Shousheng, director of the Yinan County Culture and Tourism Bureau, said that the integration of culture and tourism is a new engine for our rural revitalization, which can effectively activate new industries for rural development.
