The Ankang flower drum, which was selected into the second batch of intangible cultural heritage list of Shaanxi Province, is a local folk music genre spread in Ankang area, which is widely spread in all counties and districts of Ankang City, especially the flower drum singing in Hanbin District and Xunyang County District of Ankang City is the most representative. The Ankang flower drum was first evolved from the "beating the drum", and it was integrated with various folk songs, and in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, the flower drum with unique vocal rhyme was finalized. The basic sentence pattern of Ankang flower drum singing is "seven, seven, eighty, five" four sentences, the sound follows the word, in the case of the basic tune unchanged, the line tone is flexible and changeable, the singing form is flexible and diverse, the singing melody is clear and euphemistic, the lyrics are humorous and funny, recording the history of Ankang people's labor and life, vividly reflecting the optimistic and enthusiastic life attitude of Ankang people, it is a form of entertainment that the masses like to see, and is deeply loved by the masses.
Li Longmao, the provincial inheritor of Ankang flower drums, learned art since childhood, and performed more than 20 performances a month at most.
