On April 6, 2024, a case of assaulting a minor occurred in our city, and the public security organs have promptly filed a case for investigation and handling, and hereby report the situation as follows:
At 0:00 a.m. on April 6, the Xiaoyi City Public Security Bureau received a report that there was a fight on No. 1 Commercial Street in front of Fuqian. After receiving the police, the police of the Xinyi Police Station arrived at the scene as soon as possible, and after learning about the victim Wu (female, 15 years old), the beater had left. The police then notified Wu's guardian to appear at the scene and immediately launched an investigation, and all 11 people involved in the case were brought into the case that day. At present, three of the main suspects, Fan, Ren, and Feng, have been criminally detained in accordance with the law; Li and seven others have been administratively detained in accordance with the law (they will not be executed because they are already 14 years old but not under 16 years old); Tian X will not be punished because they are under the age of 14, and their parents have been ordered to strictly discipline them.
After investigation, on April 5, 2024, Fan (female, 16 years old), Ren (female, 16 years old) and others met with Wu on the evening of the same day and lured him to the No. 1 alley in front of the house to beat him, pull his clothes, and shoot a video. At present, the case is being handled in accordance with the law, the victim Wu is in stable physical condition after diagnosis and treatment, and the relevant departments are carrying out psychological auxiliary therapy.
