The Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Base is a characteristic cultural brand launched by the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and an exchange platform built by the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese with its own advantages, with the theme of "Overseas Chinese and the Chinese Dream", with Chinese culture as the core, national culture and regional culture as the characteristics, and overseas Chinese culture as the link. The rated base usually has a certain influence in its own field nationwide, and is a cultural display window that "carries Chinese culture, is rich in the characteristics of overseas Chinese, yearns for the majority of overseas Chinese, and is widely praised by the society".
Mindu Folk Garden was founded in December 2010, the park covers an area of about 180 acres, with a construction area of 16,700 square meters and a greening rate of 40%.
The park is mainly based on farming culture and folk culture, and is a national AAA-level tourist attraction, a research and practice education base for primary and secondary school students in Fujian Province, a family education innovation practice base in Fujian Province, a social science base in Fuzhou City, an off-campus moral education base in Minhou County, and a patriotic education base in Minhou County.
The park focuses on the production and life, folk beliefs, culture and education of residents in Fuzhou, especially in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and echoes with the Tanshi Mountain Cultural Site and the Minhou County Museum, and is one of the important folk culture and tourist attractions in the suburbs of Fuzhou.
Mindu Folk Garden has always been committed to displaying the local folk culture and traditions, the local customs of Fuzhou, and at the same time providing a permanent window to the world, so as to contact the overseas Chinese gentry and cultivate the sense of national nostalgia.
