On April 6, the WeChat official account of Jikepulin International Ski Resort issued an announcement that the sealing time originally planned for April 10 was extended to April 15.

  According to the announcement, at present, the snow quality of Jikepulin International Ski Resort is excellent, and the weather forecast shows that there will be snowfall from April 9th to 12th, in order to meet the ski needs of skiers to the greatest extent, the ski resort closure time has been extended from the original plan of April 10 to April 15.

  Jikepulin International Ski Resort is located in Hemu Township, Kanas Scenic Area, Burjin County, Altay Region, with 103 ski trails, the longest ski trail of 11.17 kilometers, and a total length of 108 kilometers. The highest altitude of the ski resort is 2,848 meters, and the maximum drop is 1,466 meters, which is the largest ski resort in China. The 2023/2024 snow season officially kicked off on November 4 last year.

  Altay region is located in the northernmost part of Xinjiang, at 45°-47°N, the world's golden latitude for skiing, with an average annual snow period of 210 days, long snow period, excellent snow quality and large slope drop. Relying on the unique ice and snow resources, the Altay region has successively built high-standard ski resorts such as Keketuohai, Jiangjun Mountain, Jikepulin, and Qingri Wolf Mountain. As of now, these ski resorts are in operation.
