Moldovan female President Sandu: After Zelensky, NATO is another pawn

According to a report by TASS on April 5 local time, former Pentagon official Stephen Bryen said that if Russia wins Ukraine in the end, then NATO countries may see Moldova as "a strategic staging ground and springboard for the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa and perhaps Crimea".

In his opinion, Europe is brewing a second set of actions to prevent the final collapse of Ukraine, and Moldova is a good springboard.

Judging by the map, Moldova is a long and narrow country between Ukraine and Romania, with an area of less than 34,000 square meters.

Moldova is too small, smaller than Georgia. Moldova cannot completely replace Ukraine, but as Brian said, NATO, the United States and Europe use it to create trouble for Russia.

Despite the fact that the territorial area is nowhere near that of Ukraine, Moldova does have a lot of similarities with Ukraine. For example, there are leaders who are willing to be used as pawns by the United States and Europe, and Moldova, like Ukraine, has long been infiltrated by NATO.

Both countries cooperated with NATO shortly after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Despite being ostensibly neutral, Moldova has been cooperating since 1994 through NATO's so-called "Partnership for Peace program". Ukraine also joined NATO's so-called "Partnership for Peace" program in 1994.

Despite the fact that Moldova has not applied for NATO membership, the country cooperates closely with NATO, which in essence is no different from Ukraine.

NATO set up a NATO liaison office in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, in 2017, and has been training the Moldovan army in accordance with NATO standards and systems, replicating the NATO-Ukraine military integration.

In addition, Moldova actively participates in NATO operations, such as sending troops to the Kosovo region.

Like Ukraine, NATO has carried out self-evident "cooperation" in Moldova in chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear agents, cyber defense, etc. According to the information on NATO's official website, it has set up a mobile biological laboratory in NATO.

Since the current leader of Moldova came to power in 2020, she has called on the Moldovan people to break the stereotype of NATO and frequently hold military exercises with the British, German, Romanian and American armies to increase military spending.

Both countries have problems of ethnic contradictions and separation: Ukraine has the problem of Ukraine, while Moldova has the problem of Germany, and the problem areas of both countries have become more tense after the pro-American and European leaders came to power.

The population of the Dezuo area is about 700,000. It is alleged that almost 250,000 Russian citizens live in the region.

Like the eastern part of Ukraine, the "Transnistrian Moldavian Republic" (Transnistria, "German Left"), which became de facto independent through a referendum in 2006 but did not gain international recognition, also wants to join Russia.

The situation in the Dezuo region, located in eastern Moldova, is also heating up, much like the eastern part of Ukraine since 2014.

In April last year, the Dezuo region was hit by a series of attacks, including rocket attacks on the building of the local security department, the military airport, and the arsenal. In March and April of this year, military facilities in Germany were repeatedly attacked by drones.

So far, the mastermind behind the attack has not come forward to claim it. The German-Left region accuses Ukraine and Moldovan intelligence agencies of being behind it.

Although Germany and the Left are seen as a matter of separation within Moldova, the United States and Europe have once again shown a disgusting and dispunting attitude towards such issues.

As everyone knows, the United States and Europe essentially support and recognize the separatist regime in Serbia's Kosovo region, support the separatist armed activities of Syrian and Iraqi Kurds, support the Contras separatist forces in Ecuador, and support the reorganization of the rebels, and so on.

These separatist forces have military support from the United States, Europe, and NATO, either by directly stationing troops in these areas or by providing arms funds.

However, the United States and Europe have double-labeled opposition to and condemnation of the German-Left separatist movement, as well as Russia, which essentially supports the autonomy of the German-Left but has not yet formally recognized the independence of the German-Left.

A battle of smoky miasma.

The current pro-European and American leaders of both countries are nothing more than well-behaved pawns.

Ukraine and Moldova have been politically unstable over the past few years, with corruption and oligarchic interference in politics both linked to problems.

There are differences in the attitude of various parties in Moldova towards Russia, some pro-US and European, some pro-Russian. Ukraine doesn't say much.

Over the past two decades, the divisions in Moldovan politics have not been out of balance. The process of Moldova's accession to the European Union has not been hindered, and its cooperation with NATO has been carried out closely, as mentioned above.

At the same time, Moldova's relations with Russia have not been turned on by the German-left issue or Moldova's move to the west. Russia recognized Germany as the territory of Moldova and tried to facilitate peace negotiations.

In Russia's view, Moldova is relatively less strategically important to Russia than Ukraine, and does not have fanatical nationalist ambitions, and its engagement with Moldova is dominated by the search for closer economic and political "soft power", while Russia's "hard power" plays a secondary role - Russian troops have long been stationed in the Dezuo region.

But this relatively stable situation began to change after the pro-American and European female politicians with more American backgrounds than the Ukrainian comedian came to power.

After Maia Sandu (51), the former prime minister of pro-American Europe and Moldova, was elected president of Moldova for the first time at the end of 2020, defeating a pro-Russian candidate, the scale of Moldovan politics was completely unbalanced.

Sandu, while demonizing Russia, seems to disdain to lead Moldovans into the abyss that Ukrainians are suffering.

Sandu is a person with a very American resume, another agent supported by the United States.

Sandu holds dual citizenship of Moldova and Romania.

According to her official resume, Sandu had a smooth career in Moldovan politics before 1998, but it was not an inconspicuous position. After a baptism in the United States, he rose to the next level in Moldovan politics.

From 1998 to 2005, he worked at the World Bank in Chisinau, at Harvard University in 2010, and at the World Bank in Washington from 2010 to 2012.

After 2012, he returned to Moldovan politics and began to play a high-level role, successively serving as the country's Minister of Education, Prime Minister, and President.

Prior to 2020, she facilitated the removal of the Russian language from compulsory education in Moldova in an attempt to erase the Soviet Union's historic role in World War II.

Since coming to power in 2020, Sandu has been hoping to take Moldova's relationship with NATO to the next level, but polls show that her voice is not well received by the Moldovan public.

After the Russia-Ukraine conflict, she saw a new opportunity and seemed to see the illusory image of herself standing in the spotlight of the international stage.

Sandu is eager, opening his mouth at Russia, spreading threats and creating panic.

For example, in February 2023, Sandu claimed that Russia was attempting to orchestrate violent attacks in Moldova to overthrow the government, establish a more Russia-friendly government, and sabotage plans to join the European Union.

As mentioned earlier, Russia is not as interested in Moldova as it is for Ukraine. In the negotiations shortly after the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Russia made it clear that it did not oppose Ukraine's accession to the European Union, but opposed its accession to NATO.

Sandu also admitted that more than half of the people in Moldova still oppose Moldova's accession to NATO, so she cannot claim that Russia opposes Moldova's accession to NATO, and can only fool ordinary people with the European Union.

In April and May 2023, for example, Ms. Sandhu claimed that Russia "wants to reshape the Soviet Union" and that Moldova has been acting as a buffer zone for the past three decades, but that Moldova has a "democratic world" in mind.

The "democratic world" is really laughing.

More than 10 years ago, the then President of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili, also deceived their people in this way, and the result?

In the 2008 war in South Ossetia, Georgia was reduced from a pawn of the United States to an outcast, and Saakashvili was eventually reduced to a prisoner.

Now Ukraine is gradually becoming an outcast from a pawn of the United States, and it has been more than four months since the United States cut off supplies.

In an interview with French reporters in early April this year, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken repeatedly stressed that the United States would not engage in a direct conflict with Russia, at least four or five times, which annoyed French reporters.

What will be the final outcome of Zelensky?

Ms. Sandu, do you want to test the callousness of the United States again?
