Following the 2023 update, Mercedes seems poised for a second facelift of the GLE.
Recently, foreign media photographed the new Mercedes-Benz GLE prototype undergoing testing, except for the front panel camouflage, there is nothing else to see. While it's hard to see the details, this luxury SUV seems to come with a larger, more rounded grille.
We can also see that the headlights also seem to have a new design, with a more curved swept-back design. The bumpers of the new GLE are largely covered and should have new changes. The rest of the design seems to be the same as the current model, but there may be bigger changes as well.
Foreign media said that the interior of the new Mercedes-Benz GLE may also be redesigned. There will likely be a new steering wheel and freestanding LCD instrument cluster and a new central touchscreen, which will likely have a portrait layout.
It is unknown what will happen to the powertrain, but the current Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered with a number of different powertrains, including a 2.0T, 2.5T and 3.0T engines, as well as an AMG version of the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
