Just when Yang Yanjue was physically and mentally exhausted and isolated, the god of fate began to take pity on her. A kind-hearted old couple of the Wu family found this haggard little girl on the street and stepped forward to inquire about her family situation with concern.

However, no matter how cautious Yang Yanjue is, Yang Naiwu can always easily find an excuse to vent. Yang Yanjue is often beaten to the point that she has scaly wounds all over her body, and new injuries are added to the old injuries before they heal.
The fear and helplessness in her heart accumulated more and more in Yang Yanjue's heart. She has tried to escape countless times, but she is quickly chased back by Yang Naiwu, and more cruel punishment ensues.
Yet even though she knew there was no hope, she still held on to the idea that if she was far from home, she could escape this desperate life.
Finally, one afternoon in 1992, seven-year-old Yang Yanjue, who had just finished school, once again mustered up the courage to flee. This time, she miraculously managed to escape! What drove her forward was only a strong belief: no matter where she went, as long as she could get out of extreme difficulties, she would be free from pain.
At a young age, she embarked on a long road, alone, and rode forward alone. Despite her poverty, she made it from Chongqing to Xinhua, Hunan Province, where she met her loving adoptive parents.
If it weren't for the stable social environment at the time and rampant human traffickers, the trajectory of her life might have been completely rewritten.
Finally, after a long 27-year wait, Yang Yanjue's dark past was lifted by her brother and sister-in-law's journey to find relatives. The scars that imprinted on the deepest part of her soul are hard to dilute no matter how time passes.
