Recently, the 51st Art and Design Forum PechaKuchaBeijing "Urban Renewal" series of theme forums was held in Roca Beijing Gallery, the PKBJ forum with the theme of "Growing to the 'New'", curator NickyMeng and architect Huang Kai jointly invited 6 opinion leaders from different fields - architect, founding partner of Kang Architecture, Lu Wenxi, head of Yijian Culture, Baitasi cultural and creative partner Jia Kelei, SunS Sun Tong (nut), founder of Living Gallery, Yang Xiaobo, founder of Urban Art and co-founder and manager of LCE GALLERY, Ye Zi, young dancer and manager of Tango uni Club, and Li Gengsheng, founder of KYAN Mine. At the beginning of the forum, Jasmine, the head of Roca Beijing Gallery, took the lead in giving a welcome speech and shared the brand origin and unique positioning of Roca Gallery with PechaKucha's speech rule 20X20, and Nicky Meng, curator and co-founder of PechaKuchaBeijing, introduced the development of PKBJ in the past 18 years.

The favorable policy environment and the demand for land renewal provide a good development opportunity and platform for cultural activities such as "art festivals". Through case studies such as the Echigo-Tsumari Land Art Festival, the Edinburgh International Festival, and the Kassel Documenta, we have found that the art festival has important potential and provides a valuable reference for solving the problem of urban renewal.
Taking the city's industrial heritage as an example, we propose the "Urban Art" art festival in which "the best art scene for industrial heritage dialogue" is proposed. The festival combines forums, local art exhibitions and public events to explore the cultural orientation of local projects and find solutions for the transformation of renewal projects.
