This is the construction site on the Jintang side of the Xihuomen Highway and Railway Joint Construction Bridge, as the key control project of the PPP project of the double-track Jintang to Dasha section of the Yongzhou Expressway, "huge" is the first adjective of all the machinery and equipment on the construction site. On the construction platform of pier 5 of the Xihuomen Highway and Railway Bridge, 24 sets of 350-ton continuous jacks are working synchronously, and the steel cofferdam weighing about 4,500 tons is lowered to the design elevation, and the final preparation for the back cover is now being carried out.

"Pier 5 is the key project of the entire bridge, with a diameter of 6.3 meters per pile foundation, and 18 piles form the world's largest bridge bored pile foundation group. "The total length of the bridge is 3,118 meters, the main span adopts a 1,488-meter cable-stayed suspension cooperation system, and the bridge deck is 68 meters wide, which is the world's largest span road-rail bridge and the world's widest sea-crossing bridge under construction." ”

All the way to the direction of Zhoushan Island, the construction site of the SG1 contract section of the first phase of the Yongzhou double line is also in full swing. It is understood that in addition to the three highways and railways to build a cross-sea bridge, the design mileage of the land section of the project is 14.673 kilometers, and the main line bridge of the land section has many high piers, with an average pier height of 53.1 meters. Taking the Jintang Hub Main Line Bridge to the Xihuo Bridge as an example, 44 high-pier thin-walled piers need to be built within 1.5 kilometers, which is equivalent to the construction of 44 20-storey buildings.

The construction management of the first phase of the PPP project of Yongzhou Double Line is complex, which requires the coordination and cooperation of the local government, the project company and multiple construction units, and the difficulty is no less than the construction itself. "Providing good construction conditions is the commitment of the project company. Zhang Yubin, manager of the engineering management department of Zhejiang Yongzhou Double Line Expressway Co., Ltd., affirmed.

Since the start of construction of the land section on October 30 last year, the Yongzhou double-track project company has begun to organize all participating units to further refine the preparatory work for the construction of the project. It has successively organized and held work promotion meetings such as construction preparation work promotion meetings, design disclosure meetings and construction management meetings, and conducted in-depth analysis of key time nodes, approval procedures, key line planning, drawing questions and other matters, and optimized the construction plan. In order to coordinate the implementation of key construction nodes and complete the construction tasks with quality and quantity, the project company and all participating units have made joint efforts to establish a multi-party linkage mechanism between the construction unit, the supervision unit and the project company to form a joint work force and effectively improve the efficiency and level of project management.

"In order to help achieve a good start in the first quarter, we organized a mobilization meeting for the Spring Festival in advance, repeatedly discussed and revised the planning plan for non-stop work, optimized the construction organization design, and introduced measures to retain workers during the Spring Festival and fully resume work after the holiday, and the project resumption rate reached 100% before the Lantern Festival. Zhang Yubin said, "At the same time, we have increased the coordination of the commencement of the Taoyaomen and Fuyingmen highway and railway bridges, improved the pre-construction procedures for approval, and realized the simultaneous start of construction of the two world-class bridges on March 11." ”

The first phase of the PPP project of Yongzhou Expressway Double Line is led by Zhejiang Provincial Communications Group, with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour and two-way six lanes, and is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2028. As the second major passage connecting Zhoushan Island to Ningbo, the first phase of the Ningbo-Zhoushan double line can greatly alleviate the pressure on Zhoushan's external traffic, further open up Zhoushan's economic and geographical space, and bring new vitality to regional economic development.

As of March 22, the first phase of the Yongzhou double line has completed an investment of more than 400 million, more than 25% of the annual investment, a total of 36 pile foundations of the Xihuomen Bridge and Jintang Hub Main Line Bridge have been completed, and the three road-rail bridges have been officially started.
