It's another year of green grass, and the Qingming season sends condolences. Qingming Festival is approaching, in this season of remembering the ancestors, paying tribute to the deceased, and sending sorrows, in order to advocate a scientific and civilized way of sacrifice and create a new era of civilization, thrift, ecology and safety, the Youth League Municipal Committee and the Municipal Youth Work Committee issued the following proposals to the majority of youth and young pioneers in the city:
1. Advocate civilized sacrifices and carry forward traditional virtues
The majority of youth league members and young pioneers in the city should actively publicize the new way of civilized sacrifice, consciously break the bad habits of burning incense, candles, paper money, fireworks and firecrackers, do not burn paper money in forests, rivers, public places, burn incense and light candles, etc., do not use plastic flowers, cloth flowers, silk flowers and other non-degradable sacrificial supplies, through flower sacrifices, tree planting commemoration, online sacrifices, family memorials, telling the stories of the ancestors, stepping on the green and remote sacrifices, classic recitation and other civilized and low-carbon ways to express respect for the ancestors in an environmentally friendly and low-carbon way.
2. Practice safety sacrifices to ensure safety and order
It is necessary to enhance safety awareness, strictly abide by the relevant regulations on forest fire prevention, consciously fulfill the responsibilities and obligations of fire prevention, and ensure that the sacrificial sweeping activities are carried out safely, smoothly and orderly. Reasonably arrange the time of the festival and sweep, stagger the peak of the festival, abide by the traffic rules, drive in a civilized manner, and travel safely. Consciously abide by the relevant regulations of the festival sweep, advocate green sacrifice sweep, do not use fire in violation of regulations, and do not set off firecrackers.
3. Cherish the spirit of heroes and martyrs and carry forward the glorious tradition
It is necessary to learn from the heroic deeds and lofty spirit of the martyrs and arouse the enthusiasm of loving the party, the country, and the hometown by visiting the memorial hall of the Yongchang Campaign of the Red West Route Army and paying tribute to the tombs of the martyrs.
