The reporter learned that the main production mode of green hydrogen is water electrolysis to produce hydrogen, of which alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production technology is the most mature, and PEM water electrolysis hydrogen production technology is in the early stage of commercialization and has broad development prospects.

In this hydrogen energy exhibition, Mingyang Hydrogen Energy brought the company's research and development progress in water electrolysis hydrogen production technology. Ye Xin of Mingyang Hydrogen Energy Solution Department introduced to the reporter of "China Times" that Mingyang hydrogen energy alkaline water electrolyzer series products have the characteristics of "5 super 1 more", that is, ultra-high electric density double energy gathering, ultra-large effective electrolysis area, ultra-high compact design, zero pole distance ultra-low energy consumption, ultra-efficient gas-liquid separation technology and diversified one-stop overall supply.

Ye Xin told reporters that compared with conventional traditional electrolyzer equipment, Mingyang hydrogen energy electrolyzer has a unique volume advantage, the length can be shortened by 50%, the weight can be reduced by 30%, and the related transportation and other costs can be reduced by 30%, which can shorten the construction cycle of the project while reducing the overall investment cost.

There is new news of breakthrough progress in green hydrogen production technology. EVE has released the world's first 100 kW AEM electrolyzer product, which is reported to have excellent hydrogen production effect from water electrolysis, with a load adjustment range of 10-120%, which can be flexibly mobilized according to actual needs to achieve the best energy consumption ratio, showing more powerful hydrogen production capacity and more reliable hydrogen production performance.

Sunshine Hydrogen Energy brought PWM hydrogen power supply and ultra-high-efficiency electrolyzer to the show. It is reported that PWM hydrogen power supply and alkaline/PEM electrolyzer are the core equipment of renewable energy flexible hydrogen production system. At the source end, the PWM hydrogen power supply has a 100-millisecond power adjustment response speed, which can instantaneously respond to the rapid fluctuation of photovoltaic and wind power power, and at the hydrogen production end, its output voltage ripple is less than 1%, which makes the electrolyzer and the entire hydrogen production system run smoothly and consume less energy.

Foreign companies are optimistic about the development prospects of hydrogen energy in China

In the context of green, low-carbon and sustainable development becoming a global consensus, hydrogen energy is gradually penetrating into transportation, industry, construction and other fields, showing great application potential. As of the end of 2022, the global direct investment in hydrogen energy was nearly 250 billion US dollars, and more than 40 countries and regions such as the United States and the European Union have promulgated national hydrogen energy development plans.
