On March 30, the Shanghai Citizen Cultural Festival was launched as scheduled in the spring of the city. In this day full of vitality, the Hunan Street Community Cultural Activity Center in Xuhui District has carefully planned a series of colorful activities, so that the "people's stars" can show themselves and shine on the stage as the "protagonists" and "main forces" of cultural activities.
Early in the morning, when you walk into the hall on the first floor of the Hunan Street Community Cultural Activity Center, you can see an exhibition with the theme of "Excellent Traditional Culture - Song Dynasty Jianzhan". The Song Dynasty Jianzhan boutique on display has attracted the attention of many residents with its unique historical charm and artistic value, and they have tasted the history and understood the profundity of the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
On the second floor, members of the community's Shanghai Opera team came to the activity center early in the morning. Dressed in gorgeous costumes and full of energy, they were engaged in warm-up training in advance, in order to present a unique audio-visual feast in the afternoon Shanghai Opera performance. At the same time, activities such as choral salons, dance movement appreciation, and Peking Opera salons are also in full swing in other classrooms of the center. The Hunan Street Jianghai Dance Team was awarded the honor of the three-star mass cultural team in Xuhui District last year with its exquisite skills, and they are also preparing intensively for various performance competitions in 2024.
At two o'clock in the afternoon, the Hunan Street "Striving for a New Era and Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition" literary and artistic comprehensive performance officially opened. The community Shanghai Opera team took the lead on stage and performed the classic Shanghai Opera fragment "Wuxi Cave House" affectionately. Subsequently, wonderful performances such as face changing, cross talk, acrobatics, magic, and Yue opera took turns to appear, each showing their magical powers. Intangible cultural heritage art is rejuvenated at this moment, and residents can feel the unique charm of traditional culture at their doorstep.
