The 96-meter tie arch across the East Nansha Chung is one of the four special hole span bridges of the Foshan Bridge, the bridge deck is 18.6 meters wide, the arch rib is 19.2 meters high, the total steel consumption of the arch rib is about 310 tons, and the 80-ton truck crane is divided into 18 sections of the arch rib and 3 sections of the cross brace hoisting construction, and the maximum single section hoisting weight is about 18 tons, and the lifting height is about 18.5 meters.

The hoisting section of the main arch arch rib is heavy and large, and it is necessary to ensure the requirements of high-altitude docking accuracy, alignment and elevation control at the same time, and the installation process is more cumbersome, and the construction is more difficult. In response to a series of problems, the project department continuously optimizes the construction plans such as arch rib positioning and embedded welding to ensure that the construction is safe and orderly and of high quality.

The Guangzhan high-speed railway Foshan bridge is a control project of the whole line of the Guangzhan high-speed railway, and the bridge is a large-scale comprehensive bridge integrating cable-stayed bridges, tied arch bridges, steel-concrete rigid frame bridges, rotating continuous beam bridges, ordinary continuous beam bridges, and prefabricated simply supported box girders, with many types of bridges and complex structures.

On January 21 this year, the hoisting of the first steel girder of the Foshan Bridge of Guangzhan High-speed Railway was successfully completed, marking the full development of the steel girder erection of the bridge and officially entering the critical stage of the steel girder erection of the main bridge.

Guangzhan high-speed rail airport tunnel No. 2 is 2896 meters long, using open cut method construction, under the Pearl River Delta hub (Guangzhou new) airport to be built, the first plate lining is 10 meters long, the arch wall is poured at one time, and the first plate is poured 378 square meters.

Guangzhou-Zhanjiang high-speed railway leads from Guangzhou Station, west through Foshan, Zhaoqing, Yunfu, Yangjiang, Maoming, Zhanjiang, and finally to Zhanjiang North Station, with a new double line of 400.1 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, which is an important part of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network, and undertakes the intercity railway function between the Pearl River Delta and western Guangdong.

After the opening of traffic, the travel time between Foshan and Zhanjiang will be shortened from 5-6 hours to 1.5 hours by the ordinary speed railway, and the travel time between Foshan and Guangzhou will be shortened from 30 minutes to 15 minutes.
