The man who rescued the person was Ding Xiaowei, and he was the corporate account manager of the Xuchang branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. The reporter later learned that Ding Xiaowei was awarded the honor of "The Most Beautiful Veteran" by the Propaganda Department of the Xuchang Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Veterans Affairs Bureau in 2021, and was awarded the National Financial May Day Labor Medal by the China Financial Trade Union in the same year.
