On March 17, 2024, the Red Candle Volunteer Service Center in Zhoucun District, Zibo City, Shandong Province, organized volunteers to visit the homes of empty nesters to provide them with service activities such as tidying up rooms, washing clothes, getting haircuts, measuring blood pressure, and chatting with caregivers. Volunteers care for and help special groups of empty-nest elderly people to solve their urgent problems, which is conducive to creating a harmonious and warm atmosphere for the elderly, so that they can always feel the warmth of the social family.
In the next step, the Red Candle Volunteer Service Center of Zhoucun District will continue to recruit more social resources, do things close to the people's livelihood and serve the people, and create a unique public service brand.
