On April 4th, the day of the Qingming Festival, the Golden Ox is in the spring, and the City God parade reproduces the shocking scene of the "Huijiang Old Dragon", the "Golden Ox" will walk through the streets and alleys of the ancient town, which means that the spring ploughing is imminent, and the five grains are expected to be abundant; the "City God" walks out of the temple to accept the prayer of good weather and abundant harvest; according to the custom, the Huijiang Old Dragon will add a section in each Qingming meeting, and there will be 270 sections this year.

The blessing ceremony will be staged in the Yuantong Pagoda, and the activities are mainly composed of three parts: the god of race, amusement and preparation, representing the typical farming culture of western Sichuan, and at the same time running through the theme of benevolence, filial piety, unity and harmony. It not only retains the traditional classic customs, but also integrates the unique folk culture of Chongzhou.

Yuantong Qingming Spring Festival is also known as "Qingming Meeting", the activity is mainly composed of three parts: race god, amusement and preparation for farming, representing the typical farming culture of western Sichuan, and at the same time running through the theme of benevolence, filial piety, unity and harmony. The Yuantong Qingming Spring Festival has lasted for more than 300 years and is one of the "Three Congresses" in western Sichuan, and was included in the list of provincial intangible cultural heritage in 2018.

From Guansheng Town to Chongzhou City and Daoming Town via Yuantong, or from Chongzhou City District and Daoming Town to Guansheng Town, please pass from the Shuimu North Tourist Loop.
