Recently, the 14th meeting of the Smart Home Working Group (WG4) of the Mobile Internet Application and Terminal Technical Working Committee (TC11) of the China Communications Standards Association (CCSA), sponsored by the China Communications Standards Association and hosted by CETC CVC, was successfully held at the "China Home Appliances and Consumer Electronics Expo (AWE) Exhibition" in Shanghai.
Dai Xiaohui, vice president and secretary general of China Communications Standards Association, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, pointing out that the establishment of a joint working group by China Communications Standards Association and China Household Electrical Appliances Association is an important measure for cross-border integration and innovation. She highly affirmed the achievements of WG4 standardization, and put forward requirements for the construction of smart home standard system, standard formulation and revision cycle and standard quality management.

During the meeting, experts from various interested parties shared their technologies in this field. Among them, Wang Peng, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Smart Building Committee of China Association of Building Energy Efficiency, shared the research results and standard cooperation ideas of "Research on Property + Home-based Elderly Care Model Based on Smart Home", and Shi Denian, Chairman of CCSA TC11 and Deputy Chief Engineer of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, gave valuable suggestions on the application and service connotation of home-based elderly care, the scope of standards, the entry point and follow-up time arrangement of industry cooperation.
The meeting discussed and approved the group standard project of "Overall Technical Requirements for Home Care for the Elderly in Smart Properties Based on Smart Home", which laid a solid foundation for the next step of cooperation in the establishment of a joint working group of smart home and smart building. In addition, the meeting also reviewed the "Smart Home Terminal Equipment Security Classification Test Method" and other 4 industry standards draft, "Mobile Internet + Smart Home System Corpus and Noise Collection and Playback Requirements in the Home Environment" and "Smart Home Product Wireless LAN Function Technical Requirements and Test Methods" Association Standard Draft, "Smart Home System Intelligence Level Evaluation Method Research" Research Topic Draft, and discussed and adopted the "Mobile Internet + Smart Home System General Requirements" Industry standard project proposals.
In the future, CETC CVC will rely on the national technical standard innovation base and the national standard verification point for smart home appliances, cooperate with upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry to carry out the development and verification of smart home related standards, help the interconnection and efficient and intelligent upgrading of smart ecological products, build a smart home ecological chain, and empower the whole field of intelligent quality life.
