The Third People's Hospital of Nanchong City (Shunqing District People's Hospital of Nanchong City) is located in the central urban area of Nanchong, an important economic and cultural town in northeast Sichuan, founded in 1953, is the only second-class public general hospital in Shunqing District integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, preventive health care, emergency first aid, etc., and is a demonstration unit of traditional Chinese medicine in national general hospitals and a designated hospital of "Rehabilitation Base for Children with Cerebral Palsy" in Nanchong City.
At present, the hospital is carrying out the construction of the outpatient and inpatient complex reconstruction and expansion project at the original site, which is expected to be put into use in 2026.
