He said the new Roadster will have a larger-capacity battery with a range of up to 620 miles (about 997.79 kilometers), which is one of the longest ranges on the market.

Musk also said that the Roadster has exceeded everyone's understanding of the word "car" and that there will never be a second car like this brand new Roadster.
