According to the information previously announced by Huawei, the HarmonyOS NEXT HarmonyOS Galaxy Edition developed based on the open source HarmonyOS will officially meet consumers this fall.

At the HarmonyOS Ecosystem Launch Ceremony held on January 18, Huawei announced that the developer preview version of HarmonyOS NEXT will be available for application, and the developer beta program will be launched in Q2 (Q2) and the commercial version will be released in Q4 (Q4).

According to IT Home, the HarmonyOS NEXT developer preview version will no longer be compatible with Android open-source applications, and only supports applications of the HarmonyOS kernel and system, so it is called "pure-blooded HarmonyOS".
