Volkswagen's first all-electric station wagon, the all-new ID.7 Tourer, was launched, with a range of up to 685 km
Fast Technology reported on February 20 that according to foreign media reports, Volkswagen's first pure electric station wagon ID.7 Tourer was officially released.
It is reported that the ID.7 Tourer is an electric car like no other. The car will provide all the cargo space and range that a road tripper might need.
In terms of range, the ID.7 Tourer will be offered with two battery packs of different capacities, however, the exact specifications have not yet been announced.
However, Volkswagen says that the larger capacity battery pack will be able to achieve a range of up to 685 kilometers, while the battery pack supports DC fast charging of up to 200 kilowatts, which can charge from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes.
In terms of space, the ID.7 Tourer has a boot volume of 605 litres, thanks to a straighter roofline, which can be expanded to 1,714 litres when the rear seats are folded down.
It is worth mentioning that the new car's in-vehicle system has also been comprehensively upgraded, and the 15-inch central control screen integrates ChatGPT AI.
Volkswagen revealed this earlier this year at CES in Las Vegas. He promises an improved IDA voice assistant that can operate more car functions and research information online, as well as a head-up display that can now display navigation commands for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Finally, Volkswagen said that the ID.7 Tourer will be produced at the Emden plant in Germany, along with the ID.7 sedan and the ID.4 SUV. Pre-orders are expected to open in Europe in the first quarter of 2024, with the first deliveries yet to be announced.
