On February 14, the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, the Yangge Association of Dongjie Community in Zizhou County took to the streets to celebrate the New Year.
At the performance site, the Yangko performers wore gorgeous and festive Yangge costumes, held colorful fans and silk, and danced to the sonorous gongs and drums under the leadership of the "umbrella head" and loud voices. The "cross step" under the feet exaggeratedly swayed, swinged, walked, jumped, twisted, and changed the rich formation, showing the cheerfulness and enthusiasm of Yangge in northern Shaanxi to the fullest, and winning bursts of cheers and applause from the audience. Some viewers took out their mobile phones to take photos from time to time, recording the beautiful moments of the Spring Festival.
