I rubbed my Hunter Lightning Dog and Haojue AFR halfway through, and suddenly remembered a topic: I saw a number of friends in the background leaving me messages asking how to choose these two cars.
The first time I saw this problem, I didn't take it seriously, after all, the displacement is different, the price is different, the three major pieces are different, I think it's quite easy to choose, but dozens of friends have left messages one after another, it seems that it is still necessary to talk about it.
The old rules, I still use the perspective of the car owner, from the perspective of the car owner, from the static dynamics and other aspects to make some simple comparisons, it is easy to understand.
First of all, the price: Haojue AFR I bought it in the early 10,000s, it seems to be 10380? I don't remember the specifics; Hunting Lightning Dog TCS version 15700, the difference is more than 5000 yuan, 50% of the price difference is still a lot, so I think the friends who consider the comparison of these two cars are purely making a rational comparison.
Everyone just wants to choose a more suitable commuting tool for themselves, and the commuting tool still has to look at the flat pedal, and the consumption power of riders who want to ask this question must be more than 15700.
So I won't talk about the price first, mainly from how to use it.
Appearance
Old friends know that I was transferred back to our city to work because my family was transferred from other places, less than 10 kilometers of commuting distance, I said that I would either ride a motorcycle, driving is so troublesome that it is inconvenient for their unit to park, sometimes it is a nightmare to pick up a child in a hurry.
In this case, I originally had AFR, and I said how good it would be to ride it, but people said: It's too ugly, don't.
This....immediately stunned me.
Therefore, although I have long passed the stage of taking appearance as the first consideration, the appearance of the vast majority of friends who choose motorcycles is still very important. (Here I think Aite Haojue....let's work harder in terms of styling....)
Although you use good materials, good craftsmanship and good design, if you can be more in line with the aesthetics of high-end consumers, is it better for you?

One thing to say, to take a closer look, the paint and texture of the lightning dog are indeed not as good as my UHR and AFR, especially compared with UHR, the painting process, paint thickness, luster, and orange peel performance are not as good as UHR.
But if you want to say that it is not bad, it is basically the same level as PCX160, Victoria, Wuji SR150GT these cars.

But there are two fly in the ointment: 1. At present, there is no motorcycle navigation on the AutoNavi map, and some riders say that it is easy to be guided to the elevated highway; 2. The tire pressure and tire temperature display are not displayed in the first-level menu.
I've bought a five-horse mobile phone holder, and I can do without a mobile phone holder with this screen.
Then there is the texture of the handlebar, the key module, the internal cable materials, etc., which are very good, and they are on par with UHR.
And AFR, although it is compared horizontally in the commuter class 125 air-cooled small pedal, in addition to the subjective appearance I don't evaluate, there is no tire pressure and temperature display, there is no color screen, and the integrated handlebar knows at a glance that it is just a small 125, and the mobile phone holder is a must.
The hunting lightning dog is a sense of luxury, and the Haojue AFR is a sense of refinement, and the two cars are put together to really hunt the lightning dog or cross the level.
Storage space
If you haven't ridden a lot, you subconsciously think that the bigger the displacement, the bigger the storage space of the scooter, right?
But the truth is almost the opposite.
The larger the displacement and size of the pedal, the greater the strength of the curb weight, power impact and other aspects, so under normal circumstances, in order to ensure the rigidity of the body, will not do a flat pedal design.
Taiwan pedals are very fond of making as much space as possible for the seat and flat pedal, usually using the front fuel tank, but the result of this is that the flat platform is very high (the fuel tank should be placed below the flat pedal), or the fuel tank is very small (or because the fuel tank can only be placed under the flat pedal).
The storage space of a commuter pedal basically includes: flat pedal space, diagonal pedals, front storage compartment, seat bucket space and trunk space.
Flat space AFR wins. The narrowest length is as high as 28cm, which is much more than the 20cm of the lightning dog 150, so I usually take the express delivery, bring large items, and the youngest son kindergarten teacher asked me to take the quilt home to wash, and the company notified the Spring Festival rice and vegetable oil when these New Year's goods, I all rode AFR.
But the reality of my family is that it is impossible for her to ride a bicycle with too much weight, and the most she can do to pick up the children is to hang a school bag.
In addition, one of the biggest advantages of the lightning dog's flat pedal for her is that her legs do not need to be raised as high as UHR when getting on and off the car, and it is much more elegant, which I really didn't think of before, or she told me that I only noticed this problem.
Therefore, the combination of lightning dog flat pedal and diagonal pedal just meets her use needs.
The front storage compartment is also a complete AFR victory. The two open front storage boxes are very practical, especially the limit cup holder on the left, I often have to buy Starbucks or Nai Xue's tea, the paper cups in these two stores are just placed on the left side and will not spill;
The front storage space of Lightning Dog is the same as that of PCX150, with a small press-type storage compartment on the left, which can't fit any cups, and I usually see that she only puts some wet wipes and spare masks.
In terms of seat space, the two cars are about the same, and the AFR is slightly larger, but there is no problem with putting down her M-size half-helmet.
As for the tail box, the 23 AFR has been replaced with a new tail box, and there is no problem with putting down an L-size Arai TC3 rally helmet in terms of capacity, and the texture is also quite thick, as the original tail box is obviously more than all domestic brands.
The only one that is a slot for me is that every switch must use a mechanical key, in fact, I myself like GIVI's tail box, but because I can't stand the problem that the switch must use the key, so although Xia De is particularly general, but people just don't use the key every time, which is praised.
Lightning Dog sent an aluminum alloy tail box, but I didn't install it, Xia De39 is really used to it, and the capacity is definitely larger than AFR.
Seat height and footing
The height of the AFR seat is 740mm, the height of the lightning dog is 764mm, my family is 160cm tall, and the AFR landing is very natural, and the lightning dog needs to step on one foot or point to the ground with both feet.
Fortunately, both cars are flat pedals, and if you really want to step on them, just go forward and slip to the flat pedal position.
For the sake of appearance, the difficulty of landing can be lowered to the back... I'm really convinced.
However, this also happens to represent the idea of most car buyers, and the overall perception of motorcycles in China is still very, very early, which is not to blame everyone, this is the result of the inaction of some functional departments.
Nowadays, when it comes to cars, many people can talk more than me, but when it comes to motorcycles, many people are still stuck in the stage of "can you run so fast on this motorcycle?", which is sad.
