Originally, it was thought that with the three models of the L series, Li Auto should still be the sales champion of the new car manufacturers in a short period of time. In January this year, after the M7 surpassed the ideal L7 for two consecutive months and became the sales champion of medium and large SUVs in China, the sales volume of the M7 surpassed the ideal car in an all-round way and became the sales champion of the new car-making force.
In fact, it is not so much that Wenjie has surpassed the ideal in terms of sales, but that it is better to say that the M7 is significantly ahead of the ideal L7 in sales. According to sales data, the sales volume of the M7 in January was 29,997 units, an increase of 17.4% month-on-month.
On the other hand, the sales volume of the ideal L7 in January was 13,343 units, a significant decrease from the sales of 20,428 in December last year.
Like the Ideal L7, sales of the Ideal L8 fell sharply month-on-month in January, with only 9,061 units sold. This is also the worst month for the ideal L8 since the monthly sales exceeded 10,000 for 6 consecutive months in July ~ December last year.
In other words, the combined sales of the two models of Ideal L7 and Ideal L8 in January did not have the sales of the M7 model.
If this trend is followed, it is really difficult to say who will be the sales champion of the new car-making forces in the next few months. Because although the M7 has replaced the ideal L7 in a row, it has become the sales champion of medium and large SUVs in China for three consecutive months. However, the performance of the two models of Ideal L7 and Ideal L8 is still not bad in terms of sales, and they are still among the top few in the sales list of medium and large SUVs. It can only be said that it is not that the ideal L series is not good, but that the strength of the M7 is too strong.
In the face of this situation, Li Auto is finally going to make another effort.
On February 15, the teaser image of Li Auto's new model, the Ideal L6 model, was exposed, and the new car will be officially launched in April this year.
In terms of exterior design, the Ideal L6 still continues the design language of the Ideal L series models, and is equipped with the iconic through-type LED headlights of Ideal Automobile. In terms of body size, the ideal L6 is 4925/1960/1735 mm in length, width and height, and the wheelbase is 2920 mm, which can be regarded as a small ideal L7.
As for the interior design of the new car, the official picture has not yet been released, but it can be roughly predicted that it should be the same as other models of the ideal L series, and the main feature is also a refrigerator color TV large sofa.
In terms of positioning, the ideal L6 is also a medium and large SUV, with a 2+3 5-seat layout.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a range-extended hybrid system, a 35.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, a pure electric range of 172 kilometers, a fuel consumption of 6.9 liters per 100 kilometers, and a starting price of less than 300,000 yuan.
For the ideal L6, the ideal car officially gave high expectations: monthly sales of 30,000 units. It seems that the ideal surpasses the question world, and it depends on the ideal L6.
