Since the fifth day of the first lunar month, the return passenger flow of the Yangtze River Delta Railway has continued to rise. Today is February 16 (the seventh day of the first lunar month), and China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd. is expected to send 2.55 million passengers. On the same day, the Yangtze River Delta railway department plans to increase the number of passenger trains in the through direction of 229, 181 passenger trains in the direction of the tube, and 187 EMU trains in the reconnection operation, and increase the capacity of Beijing-Shanghai, Guangzhou-Shenzhen, Xubeng, Hefu and other key directions of passenger flow after the festival to meet the travel needs of passengers.
As a key area in the Yangtze River Delta after the holiday, Xuzhou Station has continued to usher in a large passenger flow in recent days, sending more than 100,000 passengers for three consecutive days, an increase of 46.71% over the same period in 2019. Among them, the station sent more than 120,000 passengers on the sixth day of the first lunar month, setting a new high in the number of passengers sent in a single day since the Spring Festival this year. Combined with the actual passenger flow, the station dynamically adjusts the number of green channels opened, scientifically plans the flow lines of passengers entering and leaving the station within the station area, strengthens the evacuation guidance of passenger flow, and makes every effort to ensure the safe travel of passengers.
As one of the two new lines opened in the Yangtze River Delta region in the second half of last year, the Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway along the Yangtze River ushered in the first Spring Festival "big test" after its opening. Since the Spring Festival, four new stations such as Jurong, Jintan, Wujin and Jiangyin have safely sent more than 290,000 passengers, among which Jiangyin Station, which has the largest passenger flow among the four stations, has sent nearly 7,000 passengers per day during the Spring Festival, actively serving residents along the line.
In order to cope with the concentrated arrival of returning passengers, stations in Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou and other places have dispatched additional staff at key locations such as passenger passages to guide and protect platforms and escalators, exit passages, exit entrances and other places where people are concentrated, so as to ensure the safety of passengers. In addition, the above-mentioned stations give full play to the advantages of transportation hubs, strengthen communication and contact with regional management committees, subways, buses and other departments, and do a good job in the arrival and evacuation of passengers. Jinhua Railway Depot has set up a volunteer service "Changxing Alliance" in Lishui, Jinhua and other places in Zhejiang Province to help passengers return through road and ground transportation connections.
In order to provide a comfortable waiting environment for passengers, station equipment maintenance personnel in Xuzhou, Bengbu, Fuyang and other places have encrypted the frequency of HVAC equipment and heating equipment inspections to ensure the comfort of air conditioning in the waiting area of passengers. Nanjing, Hefei and other railway power supply units to do a good job in the power supply guarantee of passenger stations, focusing on strengthening the Shanghai Hongqiao, Hangzhou East, Nanjing South, Hefei South and other hub stations where passengers travel on duty and power supply equipment inspection, pay close attention to the station lighting, communications, elevators, air conditioning and other large-load equipment electricity consumption, formulate power supply guarantee emergency plans, increase the number of stationed manpower, and make every effort to ensure the return of passengers.
The railway department reminds that after the holiday, many stations in the Yangtze River Delta ushered in a large flow of departures and arrivals, and passengers entering and leaving the station should try to prepare valid tickets in advance and follow the guidance of the staff to enter and exit the station in an orderly manner;
