In the past few days, the passenger flow of major railway stations in Dongguan has been rising day by day, and the return trend is obvious.
In terms of Dongguan Station, since the Spring Festival, as of February 14, it is expected that a total of 26,971 passengers have been sent and 191349 have arrived. Since February 10 (the first day of the first lunar month), Dongguan Station has sent a total of 44,955 people, reaching 48,431 people.
In terms of Dongguan South Railway Station, as of February 14 since the Spring Festival, it is expected to send a total of 139144 passengers, reaching 92,051 passengers. Since February 10 (the first day of the first lunar month), Dongguan South Railway Station has sent a total of 19,948 passengers, reaching 22,396 passengers.

According to the Guangzhou Railway Group, February 17 (the eighth day of the first lunar month) ushered in the first wave of passenger flow after the holiday. Judging from the current ticket sales situation, starting from the fourth day of the first lunar month, the flow of visiting relatives, the flow of workers, and the flow of tourists overlapped, and the passenger flow was mainly concentrated in Beijing-Guangzhou, Shanghai-Kunming, Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong, Guiguang, Hangzhou-Shenzhen, Hainan and other routes.
It is expected that the nationwide return passenger flow will rebound significantly from February 13 (the fourth day of the first lunar month), and there will be a "double peak" on February 17 (the eighth day of the first lunar month) and February 25 (the sixteenth day of the first lunar month).

The peak of the return of the Spring Festival is approaching, and the Dongguan traffic police have issued "two announcements and one reminder" in combination with the actual road traffic in the jurisdiction, asking the public to choose the travel time, route and mode reasonably. 1. Prediction of the peak node of the return trip
(1) The peak of the first wave of returns
It is expected to occur from February 14 to 17 (the fifth to the eighth day of the first lunar month). Citizens returned to work after the festival and students returned to school one after another, and the traffic flow was concentrated in key sections such as expressways, urban expressways and main roads connecting the central urban area.
(2) The second wave of return peaks
It is expected to travel on February 24 and return after the festival on February 25 (the 16th day of the first lunar month). There are many folk activities such as lantern festivals and temple fairs in Dongguan City, and citizens participate in folk activities at night to travel in a concentrated manner, which is easy to form road sections and regional congestion.
Second, the return jurisdiction of the high-speed congestion slow section
According to the forecast, during the return period (February 14-17 and February 25), the slow-moving sections that are prone to congestion are:
Guanglong Expressway (S6) from Guangzhou to Dongguan, Shatin Interchange to Houjie Interchange;
Guangzhou-Shenzhen Yanjiang Expressway (S3): Chang'an to Dongbaohe Bridge section from Guangzhou to Shenzhen;
Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway (G4) Guangzhou to Shenzhen direction Humen Port branch line interchange to Guanglong Expressway Houjie interchange section;
Boshen Expressway and Chaoguan Expressway interchange southbound section;
Yongguan Expressway (G1523) Guanzhang Road Station - Dayouyuan Interchange Section;
Dongguan East Railway Station - Changping Station Section;
Pearl River Delta Ring Line Expressway (G94) Shida Station - Central Station Section.
