In particular, the exhibition of fine art works in the museum's collection during the Spring Festival includes the works of famous painters such as Wang Wenfang, Li Xiaoke, Yang Yanwen, Wang Mingming, Zhang Renzhi, etc., and there are many people who cooperate with Zhang's two huge paintings, which is indeed rare. The Chengxian Museum was established in 2001. The new museum was completed in 2012, with a total area of 2,700 square meters, including an exhibition hall area of 1,900 square meters. There are four exhibition halls, including <西狭颂><石门颂><郙阁颂>three basic exhibitions and a temporary exhibition hall, including "Bright Earth - Chengxian Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition", "Chengzhou Historical Civilization Exhibition", "Eastern Han Dynasty Cliff Stone Carvings and Rock Carvings". It is responsible for the collection and protection of historical relics, calligraphy and painting, intangible cultural heritage projects in our county, as well as the research and display of cultural heritage and natural remains. During the Spring Festival, in order to meet everyone's cultural needs, the museum also further extended its opening hours to deliver a sumptuous New Year's cultural feast for the general public and tourists.
According to Liu Heng, director of the Cheng County Museum, during the Spring Festival, the Cheng County Museum is open to the public for free normally, from nine in the morning to five in the afternoon (four and a half are prohibited), and at the same time, a volunteer service post has been set up to provide public welfare explanations for the majority of tourists and lead everyone to spend a cultural Spring Festival.
