In order to thoroughly implement the "Regulations on the Safety Management of Fireworks and Firecrackers in Shanghai", the Bay Tourism Area strictly implements various measures for the safety control of fireworks and firecrackers according to local conditions, gives full play to the strength of the safety volunteer team, and organizes a "night patrol team" for fireworks and firecrackers control, so as to be highly vigilant against fires at all times and ensure the safety and stability of the jurisdiction during the Spring Festival.
The bay tourism area strengthens mobilization and deployment, posts notices of prohibition of fireworks and firecrackers and fire safety in advance at the main entrances and exits and prohibited points within the jurisdiction of each residence (village), shop, enterprise and other units, and fully informs the community building team leader, resident representatives, property and surrounding business shops of the requirements for publicizing the ban on fireworks and fire safety. On the eve of the Spring Festival, more than 30 banners and more than 200 posters were hung in the bay tourism area.
In order to let the masses spend a stable, happy and peaceful Spring Festival holiday, on the eve of the Spring Festival, the Ping An Office and the joint police station, the urban management squadron, the municipal supervision office, the cadres of the neighborhood committee, and the volunteers of Ping An carried out fireworks and firecrackers safety inspections on the shops along the street in the jurisdiction. During the inspection, the police focused on checking whether the fire protection facilities of the shops were complete. At the same time, focus on promoting fire prevention and accident prevention safety knowledge to stores, and strictly prohibit illegal sales of over-standard, shoddy and counterfeit fireworks. On the other hand, for the shops that are about to return to their hometowns for the Spring Festival, Ping An volunteers also advised them to take safety measures to cut off electricity, gas and water to further enhance the sense of security of residents.
On the night of Chinese New Year's Eve and the fourth day of the new year, SPRING FESTIVAL volunteers wore orange vests and patrolled the streets and alleys and community corridors at night, guarding the safety of the community against the cold wind. They did not let go of a blind spot, did not leave a blind spot, strengthened the inspection of key areas of public security, weak communities, accident-prone road sections and other areas, and weaved a strict "public security protection network" with their footsteps.
During the duty period, the bay tourism area involved a total of 12 key routes, invested more than 60 people's police, mobilized more than 200 safety volunteers, and successfully completed the safety control of fireworks on Chinese New Year's Eve and the fourth night of the new year.
