A pair of scissors cut new ideas, and thousands of lights talk about a thousand years. On the morning of February 9, an activity of "Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Community, Picking Up Relics Day - Paper-cutting Handicraft Experience" was held at the Yueyang Street Community Cultural Activity Center, allowing children to experience the traditional New Year culture in the intangible cultural heritage.
During the activity, Tian Baoqi, the representative inheritor of Shanghai paper-cutting, an intangible cultural heritage project in Songjiang District, told the children about the significance of the inheritance of the intangible cultural heritage project of paper-cutting, as well as the origin, development process and skills of paper-cutting, so that the children could fully understand the close connection between the art of paper-cutting and people's daily life and festival customs.
A pair of scissors, a piece of red paper, folded several times, rotated several times, and each piece of red paper began to become flexible...... With the rise and fall of the scissors, small window flowers and various vivid patterns are presented in the hands of the children one by one. "When cutting, the lines should be steady, slowly repaired, and cut evenly so that they will not break. Mr. Tian patiently explained the essentials of paper-cutting.
After hands-on experience, the paper-cut works are vividly presented under the children's scissors. The children excitedly showed their carefully created works to their partners, with happy smiles on their faces.
