Ups and Downs of Life, My College Dream - Zhang Tian's Memoirs (9)

ZHANG Tian

"Ten years of turmoil", the abolition of the college entrance examination, our "old three" generation did not have the opportunity to go to college, but we have a college dream, and we are hungry for knowledge.

The "old three classes" refer to the high school and junior high school graduates of the classes of 1966, 1967, and 1968, and were all the middle school students at the beginning of the "Cultural Revolution" in 1966. In the 70s, the paralyzed party committees at all levels were restored one after another, and the political power was transferred from the revolutionary committees to the people's government. In the process of selecting and promoting cadres, all levels have found that the students of the "old three years" have many advantages.

First of all, the education we receive in childhood and adolescence is an education of revolutionary heroism. Almost all of the young people who grew up at the same time as New China grew up listening to the stories of revolutionary heroes. Not long after the liberation of the country, many revolutionary heroes who had experienced the Red Army period, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation, and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea were around. Many of the novels, poems, plays and movies published in that era were written to praise revolutionary heroes, and many of the authors of the novels had personally participated in the revolutionary war. So, for many teenagers of that era, heroes were not out of reach, but were all around them. Hero worship and the desire to be a hero yourself were the dominant concepts of most young students in that era.

The second is the education of the communist outlook on life. Beginning in the early 60s of the 20 th century, under the relevant instructions of the party, schools across the country have strengthened the education of students' communist outlook on life. At that time, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League repeatedly initiated great discussions on the communist outlook on life among young students across the country. The call sign of the Young Pioneers is: Ready to fight for the cause of communism - always ready. The song "We Are the Successors of Communism" has replaced the original Young Pioneers anthem. The vigorous nationwide campaign to "learn from Lei Feng" is aimed at highlighting the spirit of Lei Feng, that is, the communist spirit, of "benefiting others without self-interest" and "dedicating everything to the party and the people." The students of the third class grew up in such an educational and social atmosphere.

Third, the vast majority of the "old three" students have experienced the baptism of the "Cultural Revolution" movement. If the "Cultural Revolution" movement is compared to a raging storm, then the students of the "old third class" have truly seen the world through the wind and rain. In just over two years, they have been exposed to a lot of things that they would never learn in the classroom or in books. They really know what politics and society are, they see the despicability behind the sanctimoniousness, the betrayal and betrayal behind the oath, and they also see kindness, loyalty, and righteousness. They went from being reckless, naïve, and impulsive at the beginning of the movement, to being calm, accommodating, and atmospheric two years later.

Fourth, our junior high school and senior high school students in Handan City were assigned jobs a little earlier, so they did not catch up with the educated youth to go to the countryside, but they also sank to the lowest level of society at once, so that we could personally experience how the workers and staff at the bottom of this society work and live. Therefore, they can bear hardships and endure hard work; no matter what kind of work they do, they can be down-to-earth, and they will not be too ambitious and indulge in fantasies.

Fifth, as peers of the republic, the "third term" has experienced all the major events since the founding of the People's Republic of China, and their life experience is quite rich. They have the following characteristics: they are familiar with the lower strata of society, speak and do things in a down-to-earth manner, have a pragmatic work style, and hate "fake big emptiness"; live a simple life and are not luxurious; they are responsible, dare to be responsible, and can face problems and difficulties head-on. Among these people, some were workers, peasants and soldiers in the 70s, and some were admitted to universities after the resumption of the college entrance examination in 1977 and 1978. But more in the 80s, he passed the diplomas of the University of Electricity, the University of Industry, the University of Letters, the University of Publications, and the University of Night.

The Party Central Committee put forward the requirements for the regularization of party school education, and decided to recruit students (regular college degree, full-time study for two years) basic courses for party and government cadres. The Handan Municipal Party Committee has decided to conduct a city-wide examination and enrollment of students for those of us who are the backbone of the work of party and government organs but have no academic qualifications. The opportunity was rare, and the three young people of the Finance Committee, namely Chen Wenting, me and He Qiang, all submitted a request to the leaders to take the examination, and the leaders agreed, and all three of us were also admitted. At that time, the competition was also fierce, and thousands of people applied for the exam. Only more than 150 people were recruited, and the test was a liberal arts question. I got the 9th place out of all the candidates, which is a high score. The math score is a reference score, my math is not good, and I only scored 20 points in math (5 points for each of the 4 questions for solving equations). The courses in the third year of junior high school and high school have not been studied at all, and the test is the knowledge of high school courses. To tell the truth, the ninth place in my exam was the light of working in an agency and constantly learning by myself in practice.

Some people jokingly call our junior college class "Whampoa Phase I". Because the party school system has tried to run junior college classes, two years of full-time study of basic courses for party and government cadres, and systematically study 12 junior college courses. We are the first phase, the school teaching and learning and student management are quite strict, the study life is tense and orderly, and the collective life is happy and interesting. I wrote a reportage in February 1984 to prove this:

Hope (Reportage)

——Remembering the students of the Young Cadre Class of the Party School of the Handan Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China

ZHANG Tian

On September 1, 1983, the autumn breeze was blowing, and white clouds were floating high in the sky. Comrade Gao Yong, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee, was entrusted by Yue Qifeng, secretary of the municipal party committee, to make a special trip to the party school of the municipal party committee to attend the opening ceremony of the first two-year junior college class.

When all the students were sitting in the auditorium, Comrade Gao Yong excitedly walked up to the podium and said: "Comrades, in accordance with the requirements of the regularization of education in the Party Central Committee and the needs of making the contingent of cadres younger, more knowledgeable, more professional, and more revolutionary, the regularization of education in the Party School in our city has been realized!"

Comrade Gao Yong talked cordially with them for half an hour, staring at the young students with bright eyes and saying: "The municipal party committee has put forward three demands to you: First, you must cherish this opportunity to study after leaving your post and study well in 12 courses in two years; second, you must be rigorous in your studies, bravely climb the ladder, and study and live like Comrade Haidi; and third, you must carry forward the party's fine traditions and work style and become a new generation of communists. ”

When Comrade Yue Ping, deputy secretary of the Communist Youth League Municipal Committee [head of the youth cadre class], the representative of the students, spoke, enthusiasm surged into the faces of the students, and they all looked intently and held their breath, and seemed to answer in unison: "We must live up to the hopes of the party organization." ”

This is the starting point of the extraordinary university study life of the 75 students of the young cadre class. Since then, these 75 young Communist Party members have firmly kept in mind the great trust of the Party and are determined to report to the Party with outstanding results.

However, this is not a light song and dance after all, they are faced with thorns and difficulties. They face serious challenges.

[a]

First and foremost, it is life that challenges them. In order to ensure the quality of learning, the school stipulates that all students will eat and live in the school. It's easy for happy bachelors to do this, but it's not easy for them. They come from units across the city and are between the ages of 30 and 35. Although they are young, they have already dragged their families. There are elderly fathers and babbling babbling babies, and the burden of housework is heavy.

What should we do? We must do everything possible to overcome difficulties.

Yuan Shexing, a cadre of the Industrial Department of the Municipal Party Committee, and Yang Jun'e, a cadre of the Renmin Road Sub-district Office in Congtai District, are a couple, and they were admitted at the same time to study in the youth cadre class. The six-year-old only daughter was left unattended, and the two of them locked the door and closed the door, entrusting their daughter to someone else to take care of them, and the two lived in the school's collective dormitory. Some people joked that their family was "separated from their wives", and they laughed and "shot back" and said: "In order to learn knowledge, what's wrong with separating wives?"

There are more than a dozen female students in the youth cadre class, and it is even more difficult for them to live in the school to study. The young children are left at home and entrusted to the care of their mother-in-law or lover, but the children's food and clothing are still on the mind, and they are just crowded into a concentrated group on Sundays.

Comrade Jiang Guiyun's only son of Comrade Jiang Guiyun of the Youth League Committee of the municipal organ is just over three years old, and it is the baby bump of the couple. At first, her mental state is ambivalent. Let's live in the school, I can't rest assured about the baby. I applied for a day study according to the special case, and I was really worried that it would affect my studies. The desire to learn made her decide to live in the school, only to see her look at her husband coquettishly and smile and say, "You work harder." The husband raised his hand happily: "Let's go, I have two positions, and I am both a father and a mother." ”

School life is intense and orderly. In the morning, as soon as Dongfang showed the white of the fish's belly, the students went out as a whole team to exercise; in the morning, there were four main classes, and in the middle of the two classes was recess exercises; in the afternoon and evening, it was self-study time. Compliance is another hurdle for these trainees. Many of them have held leadership positions, and they used to be stewards of others, but now they are not used to being managed by others. Let's take a look at how they stick to their morning exercises:

In the early morning, as the electric bell of "Jingle Bell" rang, the students lined up in a neat line, running on the off-campus road, and the dust was kicked up behind them. The sound of footsteps rustled, like the drumming of a band. The good times didn't last long, and then the team for the morning exercise was not neat.

One day, Secretary Zhang of the school party committee came to the playground, he raised his eyes and saw more than a dozen physical exercise activists running freely in fragments, and a big man was sweating profusely and panting towards the building. A small man just got on the playground and opened his mouth to yawn.

Secretary Zhang didn't speak, just paced around the playground.

This is silent criticism. As a result, the party branch held a special cadre meeting, and each party group held a special life meeting.

In a dormitory, the ninth group life meeting was going on, and the students were talking nonsense: "Why don't you let go of the morning exercise, and it's not a military academy", "It's so sleepy in the morning, you have to go out for a walk, and you can't get along with us sincerely." ”

After saying this, a few words came out, and with the consciousness of the Communist Party members, the conversation turned back. In the ninth group, Li Wenming is the head of the administrative group, and I am the leader of the party group. Li Wenming and I said in unison: "Running in the morning can not only exercise the body, but more importantly, it can enhance the concept of organizational discipline and hone our will." The youngest students in the class, Zhi Jie and Hao Hongjun, also spoke: "Strict teachers produce high apprentices, we can't go on any longer." ”

That's what they say, and that's what they do.

The long winter nights, before dawn, are fresh and beautiful. The sky seemed to have been scrubbed, blue. The crooked crescent moon hangs in the western sky, peeking at the world.

"Jingle bell—" The wake-up bell cut through the silence. "Get up, get up. The cadres of the class committee ran around the corridor urging people to gather, and the students called to each other to jump out of bed. Then, the students gathered in the playground with noisy greetings. After a while, the long procession squirmed, and the sound of the "one, two, three, four" password spread into the distance, shaking the land in the southern suburbs of the ancient city of Handan.

At the same time, thousands of households are still asleep.

[b]

The classroom was silent, and the students were listening attentively with bated breath.

The teacher's voice on the podium was loud: "Students, space and time are the forms of existence of matter. Space is the extensibility and extensibility of matter itself, and it is characterized by three-dimensionality. Time is the sequential and continuous nature of matter itself, and it is characterized by one-dimensionality. ”

The students lowered their heads and took notes, writing so hard that their wrists were sore, but they were still in a state of not understanding.

In courses such as political economy, philosophy, party history, and modern Chinese, teachers teach more deeply than university public textbooks, and are close to the depth of undergraduate textbooks. And the foundation of the trainees is uneven. Among them, there are technical secondary school graduates, high school students, and some of them have not graduated from junior high school, but have studied high school courses on their own. If you have a poor foundation, it's really hard to learn.

The students knew that their foundation was weak, and they took out a desperate posture of learning from the beginning. The general trick is to take up more time. Squeeze 10 minutes after morning exercises, squeeze half an hour after breakfast, make full use of self-study time, and take up a little time for extracurricular activities. After dinner, there was still more than an hour before the evening self-study, and the students also paced on the road outside the school in twos and threes. Of course, it's not to chat, it's not to fall in love, it's to recall the content of the lecture. The evening self-study ended at half past nine, but it was almost twelve o'clock, and the lights in the dormitories and classrooms were still bright, and the students were busy sorting out their notes and comparing various versions of the textbooks to deepen their understanding.

There are a few "weirdos" who often study in the classroom. Li Jiajiang, a cadre of the Science and Technology Commission of the Fengfeng Mining Area, is the older among the trainees, and he is thin and small, and he looks older and older. Once, when the students lined up to go out, others mistook him for the "old principal" who led the team. After the bell rang for the end of each evening self-study, others returned to the dormitory from the classroom, but he carried his notebook from the dormitory to the classroom. When asked why he went to class at this time, he just covered his mouth and smiled without answering. It turned out that he was afraid of affecting other people's rest.

Yang Chunying, a male student, is a cadre of the Youth League Committee in the suburbs. He is an avid fan of tai chi. Therefore, after the morning exercise every day, he danced by the fish pond. In addition, he can be seen in the classroom at any time. During extracurricular activities, the cheers of the people playing basketball on the playground came in bursts, but they did not have the slightest temptation for him. He can stand at the window and discuss problems with his classmates intently and vividly. Maybe he's too precious about time, you see, even when he goes to the bathroom, he still has a book in his armpit. Someone didn't understand him and gave him the nickname "Old Back", but he didn't mind and said: "The stupid bird should fly first, I have a poor foundation, and I should take up more time." ”

In the dead of night, there is always a female classmate with glasses sitting in the classroom reading a book, she likes to read silently, and never reads out loud. She is Xia Haiping, a cadre of the city library. It is known that she has a weak constitution and suffers from gastritis and other diseases, but as soon as she learns it, she forgets all this. Once, when she started studying after dinner, the lights out bell rang, and almost everyone was asleep, but she didn't know it. Like a statue, she sat at the table, holding her cheek in one hand and holding a book in the other, reading and thinking silently until the east turned white and the rooster crowed. Someone told her lover about it, and when she came home on Sunday, she was given a "stinky training": "Haiping, why don't you die." ”

Time is like an arrow, and time is like a shuttle. In the blink of an eye, midterm exams are coming. The students' studies were even more intense, because the time had come for the first time to report their results to the party.

During extracurricular activities, the noisy playground was silent. Some students even took advantage of the time to eat, and took the meal back to the dormitory to read while eating. They are afraid of losing time, even if it is a minute or a second.

But at this juncture, trouble found some students' heads again.

Huang Yongci, a cadre of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, suddenly received a call from his lover, saying that his smart and clever only son had a high fever for several days. Huang Yongci hurried home to take the child to the hospital for examination. I went to several hospitals but couldn't find the cause of the disease, and I needed to go to Beijing for diagnosis and treatment. Huang Yongci was in trouble. What should I do if I don't see a doctor for my child and my child is delayed? But when I leave school, I can't take exams and test my own learning. He stood on the balcony of his home hesitating, wandering, pondering, gulping down his cigarette before tossing the end of the cigarette into the distance. He decided to give the child an injection to reduce fever and stabilize his condition locally, and then go to Beijing for diagnosis and treatment after the exam. In this case, he still concentrated on reviewing his homework, and did not leave for Beijing with his children in a hurry until he took the exam for the last class.

Sun Jianguo, a cadre of the machine repair plant of the Jian'an Company of the Ministry of Coal, is a native of Guizhou, and his father is a veteran cadre who has participated in the revolution for many years. One day, his classmates received a telegram on his behalf, saying "my father has died". Two classmates searched for him and finally found him on the south side of the school. When Sun Jianguo saw the message, his head "buzzed", and tears welled up in his eyes. Everyone thought that he would leave for Guizhou immediately, but he went back to the dormitory and wrote a letter, calmed down for a while, and then continued to review his homework. He said: "My father died of cancer, I have already visited home before entering school, and the funeral organization will make proper arrangements, and it will not make much difference if I go back now, it is still important to take the exam." ”

Seeing this scene, who can say that our students have no ambition, who can say that our students are not noble, and who can not be proud that we have such a young generation?

[c]

The examination hall is located in the auditorium, and the students are taking the "Political Economy" exam. The invigilator paced around, and although the footsteps were so light, the students trembled in their hearts.

The students all bowed their heads and began to write, only to hear the sound of the friction between the tip of the pen and the paper.

The amount of questions is too large, and when it is time to hand in the papers, some students still have two questions that have not yet been completed.

The nerves were too tense, and a female classmate had just handed in the papers, but she fainted, and she was carried to the door and vomited.

As soon as the midterm exam results were announced, some people were happy and some were worried. With an average of more than 80 percent per course, 55 per cent of the students breathed a sigh of relief and seemed to be comforted. But people with an average score of less than 80 are deflated. They study very hard, but either the methods are not appropriate, or they are not proficient in mastering.

The list of the top 20 students with good grades was announced on the red list, like a stone thrown into a calm lake, causing ripples. Some people say that they are ambitious, and some people complain that they are too strong. At the dinner table, there was also a lot of complaining. "There is no qualitative difference between 60 points and 90 points, just pass, what are you doing with that effort?" "We all complain about the top 20, raising the score so high, making us so nervous." Some people also persuaded the top 20 students: "You can't be more energetic, you have a wife, you have children, what should you do when you are tired?"

A unique learning experience exchange meeting held by the party branch and the class committee quickly restored calm to the water surface that stirred up the ripples. The classroom is the venue, there is no ornate monogram, and the speaker does not have a script. Of course, they are the top 20 trainees. The first person to speak on stage was Liu Shiyu, a cadre of a catering company. He was tall and white with a red face, and he stood on the podium as simple and lovely as red sorghum in autumn. Everyone knows that in the entrance exam, he was last in the grade. But since entering school, he has no inferiority complex, only self-motivation. He didn't delay or owe his homework, and the lessons that the teacher said were digested on the same day. He never let go of a questionable question, and he had to look for all the details of the book. Over time, he read new books into old books, turned raw lessons into familiar classes, and his grades jumped into the top 20. He is modest, and when people ask him about his learning experience, he always says playfully and humorously: "Ahem, there is no trick, just a back." ”

Listening to his speech, everyone was silent, and everyone was pondering: Liu Shiyu can change from the back to the front, which shows that students with poor foundation can learn well as long as they are willing to work hard.

On the podium stood a thin-faced young man with a pair of myopic glasses on his face. His name is Lou Cunjiang, and he is a cadre of the Fengfeng Mining District Committee. He was known to be among the best in both the entrance exam and the midterm exam. Those who know him well know that he does not rely on rote memorization, but on diligent thinking. He not only pays attention to the understanding and memorization of concepts, but also pays attention to the organic connections between various concepts, categories, and laws, and pays attention to thinking about various problems that are closely related to reality. He doesn't rigidly organize his notes like others, but uses a central thread to string together many issues to consider the problem. In this way, the knowledge mastered is solid and solid, and no matter what kind of questions are presented in the exam, he always wins with certainty.

People are silent again, and they are pondering deeply: if you can't learn the law, it's useless to die of exhaustion.

The power of example is endless. After the experience exchange meeting, although the words of the face-loving people have not changed: "Cough, don't be early, don't be greedy for darkness, don't get high scores, just want to pass." But they were secretly trying to do it. Many people are secretly summing up their own experiences and lessons, and many people insist on studying for new lessons in addition to reviewing old lessons. In the second half of the semester, the pace of lectures accelerated, but everyone's learning was not passive, but always tense and orderly.

The high sky was full of stars, and the cold air was dry, cold, and the stars were so frozen that their eyes were stiff. The trainees of the Fengfeng mining group are not afraid of the cold. In the dormitory, they grouped together the concepts of the different syllables that were related: surplus value—profit—commercial profit—rent—interest. They have lined up many of the differences and connections of this set of concepts, and found several major differences and connections from them. That's how they learned from the dead, and it's no wonder that their group's grades have always been at the top of the class.

In the women's dormitory of the commercial group on the second floor, there is a special cave. They weren't as silent as the other groups, they were a sea of laughter. After all, people in their 30s have less memory than people in their 20s, and in order to solve this contradiction, they have found a way to "laugh". They often express some difficult questions and concepts in the history of the party, language, and modern Chinese history with unusually vivid jokes. Whenever this happens, one laughs out loud in astonishment, and then bursts of laughter. Sometimes, they laughed with unexpected screams — like children with a partition. Sometimes they laughed and gasped for breath, and they couldn't stop laughing. After laughing, the question stuck in my mind and I will never forget it.

In order to meet the needs of the country's reform, construction, and development, we should do everything possible to broaden our knowledge, and the students have gained a deeper understanding of this point through a lecture.

It was a sunny day, and the blue sky was spotless and crystal clear, and the clouds reflected on the campus made the winter less severe.

At this time, in the auditorium of the Party School, all the teachers and students were listening to Xie Qiang, an associate professor of the Central Party School, who was invited, give a lecture on modern science and technology. He talked about the periodization of modern science and technology from the emergence of modern science and technology, from the utilization of nuclear energy to the computer and the "three theories" [system theory, cybernetics, and information theory], from the book What is Life to molecular biology, and from the space age of space science to the integration of science and technology. It can be seen that Professor Xie has both profound knowledge and rich teaching experience, and he speaks to these students in a vivid and vivid manner, so that everyone is fascinated by them. Unexpectedly, a bold student wrote a note asking Professor Xie to talk about the learning methods that everyone was concerned about. Professor Xie took the note, thought for a moment and said: "A good method depends on the accumulation of knowledge, and if there is a lot of knowledge accumulation, there will be a 'knowledge explosion', and then the method will come out." ”

After listening to this, the students suddenly realized: the specific learning method is just for everyone to explore in practice, so why should Professor Xie repeat it. What is important is to accumulate knowledge, change from quantitative to qualitative, achieve an "explosion of knowledge," and become useful materials for the construction of the motherland.

The students are running in the direction of the "explosion of knowledge". They do everything possible to tap into the capacity of the brain. There were more and more books on each student's study desk, and everyone seemed to have opened a small library. They can't become fat people by eating one mouthful, they know how to grasp every minute and eat away at knowledge, and they are trying to climb on the road of knowledge.

The Spring Festival of 1984 is approaching, people are hurrying to buy New Year's goods, but the students are still studying hard. Outside the window, the sound of firecrackers was heard by the cannon sellers, but they sounded very fresh.

Learning from the sea is boundless, diligence is the shore, and Yuncheng has a road and ambition is a ladder. Take a look at their palmares:

Entrance exam: An average score of 60 or more in each subject is a good score, and the admission score is reduced to 95 points in the two subjects combined.

Mid-term exam: The average score of each person in the class reached 80 points, and the average score of 85 or more is a good score.

Final exam: The average score of each person in the class is 85 points, and the average score of 90 points or more is a good grade. Most of the students are in their eighties and nineties. Among them, many of those who had poor grades in the past also released "satellites" and jumped into the ranks of good results, and some were still in the forefront.

The campus was filled with laughter. This laughter is not so light, and how many students' hard work is contained in it.

The new semester has begun, and the south wind with the breath of spring is blowing gently, the little swallows are whispering and flickering, and the fruit trees in the school's apple orchard are branching and growing. Seeing all this, don't we still believe that this place is full of life and hope?

The study of the basic courses for party and government cadres in the party school not only enabled me to rapidly improve my theoretical level, but also made my writing level grow. During my studies at the party school, I was studying the required courses while also interviewing and writing in my spare time, and I unexpectedly gained an important harvest. First of all, I won an honor for amateur writing: Reportage Lazy People Become Diligent [published on April 15, 1983 Handan Daily 3rd edition], and won the first prize in the city-wide reportage competition held by Handan Daily, Handan Federation of Trade Unions, and Handan Municipal Bureau of Culture, and won a copy of "Cihai".

In the first half of the year before I went to the party school to study, I learned that there was a prize competition, and I wrote a report after an in-depth understanding of the contracting worker Liu Hongxiang who had been told and seen when I went to the mining area catering company to investigate, and then published it after being revised and edited by Comrade Xie Yuguo of the newspaper: I didn't expect the award results and my work won the first prize (the number of first prizes is set at one). Now this work is displayed for everyone to enjoy:

Lazy people become diligent rememberers

ZHANG Tian

As the saying goes: the country is easy to change, but the temperament is difficult to change. But the lazy Liu Hongxiang became diligent in just one day, Liu Hongxiang is a clerk at the People's Hotel in Fengfeng Mining Area, 27 years old this year. He was strong, smart, and not bad at cooking, but he didn't like to work. He arrived at 8 o'clock and arrived at 10 o'clock, and he couldn't get to the stove, and after a while, he had to go to the market again. If anyone criticizes him, he always says nonchalantly: "Do it or not, earn him twenty-nine and a half yuan a month, who is stupid." ”

One day in early March, Hao Qiwang, the person in charge of the hotel, received the contracted task: 14 people in the store, 142 yuan of profit and 250 yuan of management fees per month. This is no easy task. In the past three years, not only has the store not paid a cent of interest, but the average person has also lost 4 jiao and 2 cents per capita per day. Lao Hao decided to implement the method of voluntary combination as a group and joint production and joint sales in the store.

At eight o'clock, Lao Hao presided over a group meeting, and there were more people than ever before, but Liu Hongxiang did not arrive. After Lao Hao finished talking about the reform and management opinions, the personnel of the white case group, the meat group, and the stove room group were quickly determined. There are people of all ages who want it, but no one wants the lazy Liu Hongxiang. Lao Hao asked loudly: "Which group wants Liu Hongxiang?" Everyone was silent. At this moment, Liu Hongxiang entered the door unhurriedly, and inquired casually: "Which group am I assigned to?" Hao Qiwang pulled him out of the door and said, "Don't ask, which group doesn't want you." Liu Hongxiang was startled, his face turned red, and beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.

As soon as the news came out that no one had formed a group with Liu Hongxiang, his classmates said that he had no ambition, and his wife scolded him for being unproductive, which made him very annoyed. Hao Qiwang talked to him and said: "Xiao Liu, no one wants you to be strong, it's not that everyone thinks you're lazy." If you don't change it, when the child grows up in the future, he asks you what contribution you made when you were young, what do you say?" touched Xiao Liu's heart. He thought: I've been messing around all day, when will I be counted as a stop? In the past, I did more and did less, but now I have reformed. If you are lazy, when you get older, it will be too late to regret it. He strolled along the Fuyang River, looked at the rushing river, and silently made up his mind: never be a lazy person again, but be a promising young man.

Liu Hongxiang has an independent stove. When night fell, he carried bricks and mud by himself, and built two stoves at the counter in the business room. The next day, as soon as the day dawned, he was busy watching the fire, mixing the noodles, mixing the stuffing, kneading the buns, boiling the oil, and frying the buns. He pondered, it is no wonder that the restaurant is not far from the hospital, and most of the people who eat are farmers who come to see the doctor, and they think that food is expensive. On the third day, at five o'clock in the morning, he boiled two pots of millet porridge, put them in a large vat, and carried them straight into the hospital ward. People saw the steaming rice porridge and scrambled to buy it. At noon, Liu Hongxiang made noodles and fried vegetables to sell. The noodles are not soft or hard, and the noodles are fried in color, fragrance and taste. Customers came to him to buy food.

Seven days have passed. Liu Hongxiang took stock, the hotel stipulates that the daily sales quota is 20 yuan, except for the first day, the remaining 6 days are exceeded, sometimes a day exceeds 7 yuan, which is higher than the per capita sales of other groups. He smiled. The good horse is not worried, no one lifts, and the stove room group asked Liu Hongxiang to be the team leader. Now, Liu Hongxiang has become the "main force" of the stove room, watching the three stoves by himself, waving knives and spoons, dancing pots and bowls, and the sound of stir-frying and shouting spread all over the store.
