Recently, Pagani released a new supercar called the Huayra R Evo, which is a new model of the Track Edition of the Huayra R launched in 2021 and is even more extreme. Pagani has made a number of improvements to the model, as well as a removable roof that increases the car's downforce when it is open.

The car is powered by the same 6.0-litre V12 engine as the Huayra R, which has been updated and called the V12 R-Evo, which can produce 900 hp and 770 Nm of torque, which is 50 hp and 20 Nm more torque than before. The reason lies in the new flared design of the intake manifold, a new camshaft and a tweaked exhaust system.
Between the engine and the rear wheels is a six-speed sequential gearbox designed by Pagani HWA AG for the Huayra Track Edition, with a non-synchronous ring gearbox weighing only 80 kilograms.
The new car features forged aluminum alloy double wishbone suspension, coil springs and electronically controlled shock absorbers to keep everything comfortable. The new shock absorbers further enhance the handling.
The car has a top speed of 350 km/h and is fitted with Pirelli P Zero Slick tyres with 280/680R19 at the front and 345/725R20 at the rear. The brakes come from the new CCM-R ventilated carbon-ceramic brake kit and custom racing brake pads.
The Pagani Huayra R Evo has a long-tail treatment, lengthening the front lip by about 10 cm and integrating a ductwork system that supports the cooling system. It has also been lengthened at the rear by about 19 cm, with new central stabiliser fins supporting the large rear wing together with integrated brackets.
The tweaked design increases downforce by 45 per cent, while the convertible configuration increases total downforce by 5 per cent due to increased vertical loading at the front and rear. At a speed of 320 km/h, the Huayra R Evo generates even more downforce than its driving weight. The net weight of the whole vehicle is 1060 kg, which is 68 kg lighter than the new MX-5.
In the cabin, Pagani's fire-resistant covered seats are paired with six-point harnesses and carbon fibre headrests with dedicated lateral protection, and can be equipped with both the driver and co-driver.
Pagani's founder, Horacio Pagani, came up with the idea for an open-top Evo while watching an Indo-local program car in Nashville. The car, which took about two years to complete, Pagani says its performance is comparable to that of today's Le Mans Prototype 2 race cars. Hopefully, the lucky few car owners will be able to bring their cars with them to verify this claim.
