Take us as an example, the Zhumadian area of Henan Province is probably at the middle and lower level in the country. Every house in our village is a two-story house, cars shuttle by from time to time, and many peasants smoke cigarettes for more than a dozen yuan a pack.
Looking at the rural weddings and funerals, college banquets, housewarming banquets, opening banquets, birthday banquets, and even shaving wine and so on in recent years, there are many wine banquets with a variety of names, and a gift can range from 1200 to 3500.
Everyone eats and drinks together, you come and go, a vicious circle, a lot of social resources are wasted, and the burden on the peasants is increased.
These farmers, even if they are free to save money in other places, even if they smoke a few packs of cigarettes a year, or go to rural banquets of various names, then this medical insurance premium can be easily cut out, right?
To borrow the words of Confucius, these peasants are: either they can't do it, they can't do it.
From another point of view, it is because the income of farmers is not high and there is no social security, so this medical insurance is very important, and it can play a role in helping charcoal in the snow at critical moments.
Otherwise, the peasants are already financially constrained, and once they get a disease that costs a lot of money, then where will the medical expenses come from?
In the past, the state's finances were tight, and there was no time to take care of the medical problems of the peasants, but in recent years, the country has become rich and has begun to feed the peasants, so the state has helped the peasants pay the bulk of the medical expenses.
Now farmers pay 380, then the state will subsidize more than 600, which is the policy tilt to farmers, because workers pay social security, the state does not have any subsidies.
