Writing Classics Online Exhibition No. 1236 - Han Yu (Tang) "Spring Snow"

author:Hao Yi calligraphy

Han Yu, a great writer of the Tang Dynasty, expressed his desire for spring in his poem "Spring Snow".

The poem reads: "The New Year is not blooming, and the grass sprouts are seen in early February. "At New Year's Day, there are no fragrant flowers yet, but in February, people are surprised to find that the grass buds have already burrowed out of the ground. Although the footsteps of spring have come, the snowflakes are eager for the arrival of spring, and they fly through the garden trees, bringing a scene of spring to the earth.

In the poem, Han Yu depicts the beauty and joy of spring with fresh and refined brushstrokes. At the same time, he also expressed his feelings about the passage of time. In the new year, we may neglect the arrival of spring because of our busy lives, but when we calm down and feel the beauty of nature, we will find that every moment is worth cherishing.

Han Yu's poem "Spring Snow" brings us the beauty and hope of spring, so that we do not forget to appreciate the beauty and warmth around us in our busy lives.

Poetry Commentary:

The New Year has arrived, but there are no fragrant flowers in sight. It wasn't until February that I was pleasantly surprised to find that some grass sprouted. The snow also thought that spring was too late, so he deliberately turned into flowers and flew among the trees in the courtyard.
