Apple's strongest standard version!iPhone 16 camera layout finalized
Fast Technology reported on February 8 that the whistleblower exposed the iPhone 16 design drawing on social platforms, which uses a vertical dual-camera design language similar to iPhone X.
The whistleblower pointed out that the reason why the iPhone 16 standard version adopts such a design is to enable spatial video recording.
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are known to be able to record spatial video, and users can watch the iPhone 15 Pro series recordings in 3D video on the Vision Pro.
That's because the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are on the same level with their wide-angle main camera and ultra-wide when held in landscape orientation, enabling them to record spatial video.
In contrast, the camera of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus is diagonal and cannot record spatial video.
On the iPhone 16, which debuted later this year, Apple changed the camera position to a vertical dual camera, allowing the standard version to record spatial video as well.
According to the news, this is the final shape of the iPhone 16, and the final mass production opportunity is slightly fine-tuned, but the vertical dual-camera design is not running.
In addition, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to include a periscope telephoto lens, and Apple has increased the size of the iPhone 16 Pro to allow more interior space to plug in the periscope telephoto.
