There may be young lawyers who think that they are not talented enough and feel that it is difficult for them to do well in the legal profession.
In fact, a person's final performance has a lot to do with the congenital, but it is by no means all determined by the congenital, and there are many other reasons, and even other reasons play a greater role, which is unknown.
Today, I would like to introduce the experience of a friend, a person like him can eventually become an excellent criminal defense lawyer, and it is definitely not by innate advantage.
The experience is as follows:
1. In the first year of junior high school, he dropped out of school due to poor grades (he withdrew to elementary school and re-entered the fifth grade and re-entered junior high school).
2. In the second half of the third year of junior high school, due to the pressure from my family, I began to have school boredom and was completely unwilling to study, resulting in almost no full day of classes for half a year.
3. In junior high school, he took the high school exam twice, and his name fell to Sun Shan, and finally he spent 6,000 yuan to go to a high-priced class (6,000 yuan in 97, which was quite valuable, and all of them were loans, which shows that the older generation still attaches great importance to education).
4. Because the foundation laid in the third year of junior high school is relatively good, and I am no longer interested in going to school, I have hardly studied seriously in the three years of high school, but the habit of reading extracurricular books is still retained.
5. The final result can be imagined, the college entrance examination twice, twice ended in failure, the second college entrance examination did not even check the results, knowing that it is impossible to have good results, there is no need to look ugly - it is better to leave yourself a little imagination space, maybe the test is not bad.
In fact, without hard work, it is impossible to have good results, otherwise, there will be no heavenly principles.
6. In desperation, I can only "fly away" - or go out to work, after all, going to the coast to work was almost the only choice for the surrounding dropout students.
There are even quite a few people who are quite famous through part-time jobs.
However, the accident reappeared - as soon as people heard that they were from Anhui and a halfway "top student" (high school + waste firewood), they were reluctant to ask for it, and the reason was quite reliable:
(1) Anhui people are good at fighting and are not easy to manage.
(2) After going to school for so many years, I can't endure hardship.
(3) Giving up halfway through, no perseverance.
Then you can only "go away and fly low" - go to Xi'an to take a self-examination, where there are many self-examination colleges and universities, and the tuition fee is relatively low, which is more cost-effective for people like us from poor backgrounds.
7. Self-exam, no need to learn mathematics, only rote memorization, he has been working hard to finally find a suitable runway.
It took five years to finally obtain two certificates - the law graduation certificate of Northwest University of Political Science and Law (one for junior college and one for undergraduate).
Although there are quite a few hiccups in between:
(1) "Private International Law" and "International Economic Law" are dead or alive but can't pass the test, so I have participated in the self-examination in Xi'an, Jinan and degree, and I didn't pass the fourth exam until I barely passed, which made people want to give up for a while.
(2) I can't remember exactly which course it is, because my grades are relatively good, I am a little cocked, and I want to be a hero to save the beauty - pass on the answer to my classmates.
Due to the miscalculation of the time, he thought that the time was not enough, so in a panic, he used the back of his admission ticket as a carrier to convey the answers.
Unfortunately, her classmate was not the material for an agent, and she was caught by the invigilator while continuing to pass on the answers to one of her classmates.
My admission ticket made me show my original form.
Exam results will be invalid on the spot.
It seems that if you do good deeds, you should leave no name!
8. I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree, so I got a graduation certificate.
However, with only a graduation certificate, I still can't find a job. Only if you have taken the judicial qualification certificate, you may have a way out, of course, if you can be admitted to the civil service, it is also a good choice.
But God bless me.
In the judicial exam, the first exam, I only scored 323 points, and there is still a lot of gap between 360 points.
The civil service exam was not much better, and I didn't even get into the interview when I took the exam for the first time.
9. They have all graduated, and they can't talk about it anymore.
I can only be cheeky to find a job as a propagandist in a training school through my classmates, and the job content is very simple:
(1) Write a poster with a brush.
(2) Admission to a university campus.
(3) Tear off other people's posters.
(4) Put up your own poster.
(5) Repeat day after day!
……
This kind of work is not too secure, because the training school also has a supervisor to check whether the poster is lazy, unfortunately I was unable to work many times to prepare for the judicial examination, and I was caught, so I had to be fined.
Then just don't do it again - resign.
10. When I first started working as a lawyer, I couldn't do almost the simplest work.
For example, the first time I went to file a case, I couldn't even fill in the address confirmation form, I filled in four wrong sheets in a row, and repeatedly asked the young lady who was in charge of filing the case for the address confirmation letter, and the young lady was like seeing a monster.
The first time I held the court alone, my nervous hands and feet were cold, and my hands were shaking so much that I couldn't even hold the indictment, and I could even hear the sound of paper shaking.
The first time I went to a detention center in a foreign place to meet, because I was still a trainee lawyer (helping colleagues from the unit to meet with the Suzhou Detention Center), I had to spend money to hire another lawyer who was officially practicing in practice, but when I got to the meeting, I didn't know what to ask. ”
Resolved the embarrassment.
11. Because I come from a rural family, I am not confident when I am young, even if I have obtained a lawyer's certificate for many years, I still don't dare to speak in public, as long as there are more listeners, I will be so nervous that my hands and feet are cold.

20. After years of training and studying, I finally made a name for myself in my favorite field of criminal defense - one of the best criminal defense masters in my city, the head of the law firm, and the director of the Criminal Committee of the Lawyers Association, although there is still a huge gap compared with other criminal defense masters.
However, this is far beyond the goal I set for myself at the beginning, and I should be satisfied, after all, contentment and happiness.

People with such a poor starting point and such bad luck can control their own destiny through hard work, and I believe that most young lawyers will have a higher starting point and better luck than our friend.
