Lufthansa strike: German airlines warn of widespread flight disruptions

The German Foreign Ministry issued a travel warning on Tuesday for Germany, which is scheduled to go on strike on air transport from Wednesday to Thursday.
The MAE informed Romanian citizens who are in transit or intending to travel to Germany that from 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday until Thursday morning, Lufthansa flight staff and related companies will organize a strike.
They will affect air transport at the airports of Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin and Düsseldorf.
There will be disruptions to flight schedules operating at these airports.
Germany has been hit by a series of travel strikes
Railways, airlines, and local transport authorities have been negotiating contracts that have coincided, making it difficult for passengers and commuters in Germany to get around.
