On February 5th, the Pingdingshan City Federation of Literary and Art Circles organized calligraphers to "welcome the new year and send blessings to write Spring Festival couplets" into Jinwan Village, Yeyi Town, Ye County.
The event was hosted by the Pingdingshan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and undertaken by the Ye County Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau and the Jinwan Villagers Committee. "The dragon is prosperous and thousands of families are happy, the spring is full of all things in China", "the great cause is amazing to the world, and the dragon leaps over China", the calligraphers splashed ink on the spot, the pen walked the dragon and snake, and expressed the longing and yearning for a better life with affectionate pen and ink. The villagers gathered in front of the table, carefully watching the calligraphy lovers waving their pens on the red paper, and selecting their favorite content from the written Spring Festival couplets, and the scene was filled with a peaceful and festive atmosphere.
Throughout the morning, the calligraphers braved the cold and worked tirelessly to write nearly 500 pairs of Spring Festival couplets with beautiful meanings and both form and spirit for the people of the village. (Jiang Xue)
