In order to enhance children's safety awareness, enrich children's leisure and entertainment life during winter vacation, and enhance interpersonal skills, with the support of Jiulongpo District Civil Affairs Bureau, Jiulongpo District Charity Association, Jiulongpo District Women's Federation and Xipeng Town People's Government, the spring social workers of Chongqing Jiangbei Spring Social Work Service Center in Xipeng Town, together with the Villager Committee of Yuanming Village, Xipeng Town, launched the fourth session of the "Love Yourself and Others, Grow Happily" Children's Safety Awareness Raising Group on the morning of January 31, 2024: "Children's Hearts to the Future, Safety with You and Me" A total of 10 children participated in the activity.
Before the activity officially started, the social worker and the children reviewed the content of the previous session, such as the four categories of cyberbullying, what to do if they encounter cyberbullying, and how to use the Internet properly.
Then, in order to enliven the atmosphere of the scene and further strengthen the cohesion of the team members, the team members formed a circle, named themselves, and played radish squatting, according to the slogan "X radish squat, X radish squat, X radish squatting after Y radish squat" action, the game was stalemate at the beginning, and it was difficult to distinguish the winner or loser. At the end of the game, there are only 3 winners left.
After the game is over, it is time to officially enter the topic of this section. This section of group activities is divided into three sections: School Safety, Family Safety, and Public Safety. According to different scenarios and different situations, the social worker explains the dangers that will be encountered, and uses actual cases to alert the group members and remind them what to do and how to protect themselves when they encounter such situations. When talking about a situation that a group member has encountered in his or her life, the group member will raise his hand and share it with the social worker with great excitement, telling the social worker how he or she did it. When everyone is doing the right thing, the social worker will praise the group members, and when they make mistakes, the social worker will patiently guide them, hoping that the group members will pay attention to them and protect themselves next time. After the explanation, the group members reviewed the group activities in this section.
Finally, the group members played a game of "who is undercover", 10 people, 3 undercover and 7 civilians, describing the words they had drawn, but not mentioning the words contained in the words. Through the game, the group members are taught to analyze the truth, falsehood, good and evil in real life, and at the same time exercise and improve their language skills.
Through this activity, the team members further enhanced the team cohesion and safety awareness, gained happiness in the game, improved the ability to discriminate, and made the winter vacation life more colorful!
