Mr. Ding Wenxing: Born in a scholarly family, graduated from Henan Normal University, Chinese Painting and Calligraphy University Chinese Painting Department, is currently the president of the China Oriental Painting Academy, the vice chairman of the Chinese Calligraphy Artists Association, the director of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, the vice chairman of the China Bangshu Association, the researcher of the Chinese Academy of Calligraphy, the national first-class calligrapher, the visiting professor of Peking University, the visiting professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the visiting professor of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, and the "Art Inheritance" of CCTV Great-grandfather Ding Dehe, founder and president of the Chinese Preparatory School for Studying in Europe and the United States (now Henan University), and his father Yu Qing (Ding Xianzhan) was a master of Chinese painting and the founder of the China Oriental Painting Academy.
Mr. Ding Wenxing has been engaged in the study of calligraphy and painting for more than 30 years, and has benefited greatly from the study of Chinese painting masters such as Mr. Zhang Ping and Mr. Yu Qing, and from calligraphy masters such as Ouyang Zhongshi and Li Duo. His calligraphy works have won the gold medal of the national calligraphy exhibition for many times, and have been collected by Shaolin Temple, White Horse Temple, Pufu Temple, Dingguo Temple, Yuntai Mountain, Qingtian River and other national tourist scenic spots. In 09, he was invited to write the six-foot list book "Dragon" for former US President Clinton, which was appreciated by President Clinton and inscribed. In the same year, he wrote the list book "Dragon Travels the World" for Jackie Chan, a celebrity in the entertainment industry, and in 2012, he was invited to write the list book "Tiger" for Peng Liyuan, and his works were collected by the Japanese Embassy, South Korea's Forest of Steles, Canada's Vancouver Cultural Center, the International Alliance of Artists, a number of museums, major chambers of commerce across the country, and well-known people at home and abroad.
In 2015 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the State Post Office issued a special stamp of Mr. Ding Wenxing's calligraphy font, and in 2016, at the invitation of the Navy Headquarters, he wrote calligraphy for the officers and soldiers of the aircraft carrier Liaoning, which was well received by the leaders of the Military Commission. In the same year, to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the State Post Office once again issued a stamp with Ding Wenxing calligraphy font.
Mr. Ding Wenxing has donated millions of yuan worth of books to Wenchuan, Yushu disaster areas and the "Hope Project" Sun Village, etc., and has been well received by all walks of life. It is known as the "first dragon" of the Central Plains by all walks of life.
